Right, but what percentage of the time does someone with the means of owning one of those cars ferry four adults in it instead of in their large (and likely luxurious) SUV?

I would venture to say not to many. Way to cramped in the back of those.

Agreed, I’ve had I think one adult in the back of any of the several coupes (F82, GT350, 911, ZL1) I’ve had over the years. Otherwise just my daughter and her friends.

How the cars may be utilized is irrelevant as it pertained to the point(s) I made. I've never once had anybody in the back seats of both of my F82's, BUT…..if I needed to utilize those seats I could have. If I needed a trunk to carry moderately large items, it could be utilized in the aforementioned cars. A 911 is not nearly as useable in comparison.

Definitely agree with this, my other coupes had very usable trunks for larger items like golf clubs etc. I’ve had both mine and my daughters hockey bags/sticks in the 911. Hoping to fit two sets of clubs this spring and I’m good.

911 will hold 2 sets of clubs, might need to remove 1 or 2 from one of the bags and lay them on top but have had 2 sets in mine

The F82 fits an absolutely amazing amount of stuff in it. I wish I had pictures of everything I’ve lugged back and forth from Miami, but it’s a lot. Trunk full, rear seats full and boxes locked down with the seatbelts, stuff on the rear floor spots and jammed between the seats. Passengers seat loaded and locked with the seat belt, and passengers floor full as well. Probably several hundred pounds worth of stuff and even slammed on coil overs the car didn’t rub once. Car also drove the same and was an absolute joy to drive for the nonstop 17 hours or so. It’s just an amazing machine all around.

Think most people who has a 911 or any sports car, would have a typical beater/SUV thing to shove more things in it. Unless it is something like a RS6 where it basically does everything (like my older cousin).

Yup essentially useless toys but very rewarding, fun, and arguably therapeutic. For me the 911 is a relief car.

Yup, obviously got it covered, but I want to drive the 911 as much as possible over the other beater/SUV………or my case Taco/Pathfinder.

Think 911 can cover a lot of things but it can only do so much when it comes to volume.

For me at least, I kind of split things unless I have to shove things into my 718. Which it can cover a lot of stuff. Probably not the 4RS due to the engine intake.

Edit: I mean shoving little things here and there but not large bags and whatnot

yup, all over the place on the West Coast including Vancouver, lots of the F87s.

And I wasn't keeping track of where, but I saw a bunch of F87s in Germany/Austria/Switzerland too. I looked for pics, but I guess I didn't deem them special so didn't snap any

Here's a few others I can't resist posting though:

Whoa:

This Ferrari, which overall isn't too special but for Zurich this guy's car was pretty filthy which means it's a ::gasp:: commuter car

Saw this wrapped? Speedster:

This lambo which I admit I always find cool, but I surprisingly like this one in Matte white and, personally, I'm over matte but it looked good here.

And the official commuter car of Zurich is the 911 turbo S, but you do see a few of these around:

This dude Uberholt Prestige'd me on the autobahn. sumbitch.

At first I thought the Austrians were upping their Porsche game, but this one had Zurich plates!

And on the highways I saw a LOT of tech-testers like this benz:

and this 7er that I didn't get good pics of but was all jacked up with sensor shrouds all over the thing and had all kinds of warnings for being self-driving:

Das Germans are getting pretty serious about the sensors & tech as least as judged by the amount of mules you see on the autobahns

I see you were in the neck of my woods.

There are special sections of the Autobahn that are marked as free to use by manufacturers to test self-driving vehicles such as the ones you've photographed.
