Is that 113k base you quoted earlier correct?

At this point, one would be crazy to order an ultimate package non cs at 110k?

Yes, 113.5K CAD it is. We are indeed getting an excellent deal on the CS in Canada, particularly for those that opt for Lime Rock Grey or Frozen Dark Blue as they have made them no cost options for us.

However, when one opts for an ultimate package, one opts for a different car than the CS, a car that has more luxury features such as comfort access, surround view, driving aids, rear sun blinds, a selection of individual paint, etc...

It is also important to note the CS is only offered once the non-CS is almost out of production.

Thanks. Is there a Canadian order guide? I was offered a week 36 production limerock grey that currently has CCB which I can apparently remove. What are the other options?

I doubt that you'll be able to remove the CCB, from what I understand dealers had up to February 10th to spec their M3CS' and orders were locked after that. You're also lucky to be offered a LRG M3CS, as that colour was reserved for customer orders only and limited to 20% of total Canadian allocations, so you are probably being offered an allocation that someone back out of.

Very little options:
  • CCB $9,500 CAD
  • Alcantara Steering Wheel $600CAD
  • PSS or PSC2 (no charge)

They called back and can't remove CCB...buying an M3 is pretty complicated think I'll stick with my Porsche.

I have to admit that this car interests me big time, but I also need to admit that I'm seriously considering keeping my AA S/C E90 and adding an Alfa Romeo Giulia Quadrifoglio instead.

It's the collector car value of the CS that's got me thinking.

Not sure if the price is worth it.

Can anyone confirm if the M3 CS can be leased (and the current program)? I checked with two dealers (in US) and heard two different answers. One said it can be leased but incentives/rebates do not apply. Another said the programming is different from the other M3 and cannot be leased. Thanks

I've been told it cannot be leased. But this wasn't stated on the original bulletin sent to dealers that got allocations so perhaps this will change.

Where did you get 110K? MSRP is 77K + 24.5K Ultimate Package = $101.5K. If you want DCT, that's another $4k.

The other thing to keep In mind is that you can easily get the following discounts on non-CS models which you wont be able to get on CS:

-5 to 7% off
-2% off from BMW Trillium

Furthermore, the ultimate package adds many more options that the CS wont have such as MPE, Carbon package, etc.

First lets correct your comparison

Base is 77,550 + 3900 (why exclude DCT when CS has it) + 500 (interior carbon) = 106 450$. Add 5k for individual colour which is included in the CS.

Have you looked at pictures of a CS? It has a carbon package, a unique one at that.

Have you heard the CS? It has a CS specific exhaust and sounds great, no reason to get MPE.

Second, every dealer I've spoken to or heard about (5+) have available incoming CS that are unspoken for. Discounts are offered. Given the timing of when they will get here (sept-nov) I suspect they will sit and wouldnt be surprised if larger discounts will be offered.

I was a big proponent of how I thought the CS was decent value for what it is. However when I found out there was no lease available that worried me. If BMW isn't willing to gamble on a "residual number" neither am I. I was prepared at one point to pay cash but when they released the individual colors at no cost it's hard to not start looking. For basically $50k less I got a Laguna Seca Blue car with cloth interior and 19's. Cancelled the CS last week which is sad because I followed its build but I can't justify tying up that cash for only a slightly better version of an already amazing car.

There are literally 3 options for this car in Canada. If that is too complicated...

Some things about BMWs options re definitely annoying, for example, on a standard 3 series speed limit info is a free option if you add executive package, but you have to select speed limit info as well, and some sales people are not that on top of it.

Now if you want complicated, a 991 Turbo is insane, and Porsche has weirdness too, I ordered the yellow 12 O’Clock on my GT4, which was an available option, and Ze Germans said ‘nein’ for No reason.

Enjoy your Macan, it’s a wonderful SUV

I can confirm this as well as I work for a center in PA, no lease support from BMW FS. Members 1st FCU is offering a lease on it, however the base residual is 32%

I ran a 10k lease on it for fun, $2,423 a month. You're better off financing or using the PenFed payment saver.

Think you'll have to wait a little longer to get a deal or find a dealer that has two in stock. Right now they can play the waiting game but come november if they still have one, a deal can likely be made.

I decided to pull the trigger early to get more driving in this summer and for fear of not getting one at all. Small discount too. All that is left in Ontario is 2 frozen blue and 1 black but over MSRP. If I would have waited I would be without a CS right now but who knows whats incoming.
