Alpine White vs Mineral White

I honestly cannot differentiate in person. They both look amazing on the M3 so I went with AW.

My last car was a metallic white and I just didn't want to pay extra for it since it's not that big of a difference to me, so I went with AW.

My dealership has alpine white and mineral white BMW's in the showroom and they are so close I have to look at the car's detail summary to determine which white each car is.........For the $1,000 Canadian difference I went with alpine white.

All joking aside, MW is a stunning color. It's just that. An amazing color. It doesn't belong on a sporty vehicle.
I can't over-emphasize enough that this is just my opinion. Kinda the point of this thread, no?

Both colors are stunning! Went with AW on my M3 because my mommy mobile (Ford Explorer) is White Platinum Metallic. My 2004 325i was white as well and really liked that.

I choose AW over MW because I feared it would be harder to paint match the MW. I also can't tell that big of a difference to justify the added cost even if it's minimal.

I swapped Mineral Gray for M white, and I don't regret it... My car does looks away better than alpine white when looking directly at both

Still, that does not makes it a special color for this car... It is just a nice color to have and easy to keep clean

If my favorite color wasn't 5K, I would have chosen Atlantis Blue, with that said...

Get the Mineral White if you like a shiny color that will not look a pure white under the sun and if you prefer a mix of silver in it.

FYI, the MW still feels colder than any other color I ever had under the sun, less heat = less burn = more longevity.

Aside from color, can anyone tell me if metallic MW is more durable/resists to contamination etc. comparing to AW?

I love both colors, My 2010 e92 335i was AW. Decided to change a little and got a MW F80, no regrets whatsoever!

My current 335i is AW. I recently had a 428i GC for a few days during a service and it was MW and I absolutely loved the color.

I used to have an Acura RSX in pearl white and it had a yellow tint so I was always a little afraid of MW, but in person and getting to live with it for a few days I fell in love with the color.

As soon as my lease is up I hope to be getting an M3 in MW.

I owned an AW E92 for 8 years and just traded it in for MW F80.. I can't stop admiring the color, it accentuates the lines and the creases on the car, much more than the flat AW. I honestly don't care that much if the color is Lexus- or Cadillac-like. The car is unique enough as it is. Hope that helps you some.
