Equal-length exhaust discussion: new S55 sounds

I measured and ~34cm(14inch) difference is just in primary cats. Close to the differential the driver side have 1-2 inch more, i not measured yet, when i will go to mechanic i will do it.

Yes, that's correct. Which is why I always recommend measuring the difference in length from downpipe flange to merge point, because depending on where the merge is placed, the added length may be different. All that matters is from downpipe flange to merge, the passenger side is 14 inches longer than driver's side.

Thank you guys for being so patient with us. We have already sent out a few EL Mid pipes to a few select individuals and dealers for objective reviews. We will have a very small batch going live on our website Thursday June 18th at 1pm eastern standard time. Going forward we will be offering them in small batches until we can catch up with production around the end of July "estimated".

Also For those of you that do not know, we do have a patent pending filed As we do not want another mistake like we had with the copying of our single mid pipe.

We made a new rear section for the m2c it was a little loud in closed valve mode so we are switching to a larger one. Once completed it will find its way to the m3/m4. Just like our other single mid pipe the El will fit pretty much any rear setup on the market.

Im thinking i need some catless downpipes and a resonated EL mid pipe....just unsure if I want a rear section or not. Looking forward to listening to all the clips when you get them all out.

This guy captured the EL + stock muffler exhaust better than I could with my phone/potato...and probably more ammo for me to remove my secondary cats

How does this AA equal length mid pipe thing work? Can i pair it with MPE muffler and catless DPs.

Yea that's hands down the most natural sounding S55 exhaust note I've heard. Sounds more like an engine that loves to rev.

So if you have resonated catless downpipes would you be ok running a non resonated AA EL mid pipe or would you still want the resonated version?
