It's an amazing color. You'll love it.
I remember seeing one right before I took delivery and thought it just looked amazing in the wild.
Photos just don't do the color justice.

I think this is true of many colors, including AY and SO.

This is true. YMB has always been on my short list, but I really couldn't say for sure based on all the images/videos I saw on the internet. I always had some doubt, but now I am definitely sold.

Absolutely! When I saw Rick955 Sakhir Orange M3 in person, I was blown away! The pictures are nice and everything, but in fact, the f80/82 as a subject must be seen upclose and in motion for the design, lines and aggressiveness to be appreciated. But yeah, these "spicy" colors are spectacular. Love the YMB, SO and AY! Nice bold choices to match the cars aggressive nature and character.

I like it! I think BMW makes some blues I would pick first though: laguna seca and san marino come to mind.

I went the 'stealth' route and got MG with SO interior. If I were to do it again and had to pick something different, I would probably go SO exterior with carbonstructure cloth or SS interior

BMW definitely does something right with their paint options though. I mean even MG can look different colors in sun vs. shade...

I keep bouncing from AW to YMB. I also keep bouncing from M3 to M4. Hardest decision ever. I'm glad my dealer doesn't have any '16 F80 allocations yet, as I'm not even close to making up my mind.

I saw Austin Yellow and was blown away with how good it looked. I did not get it because I did not want the police attention it would get, but man is it a nice color.

Absolutely true, and not just because of the paint color. This car looks so different in person than in pictures. I don't know what it is about it, its like pictures just don't capture how wide the stance is. Similarly I thought the black full leather interior did not look very remarkable in pictures but is really something else once you sit in it.

This car truly has to be experienced in person, it is intoxicating in any color.

At first, on pictures, I never really liked YMB. I got to see it on person and still disliked it to almost hate it. But after really narrowing down what color I would get as I wanted an M exclusive color, I said "F it, YMB, why not?". I'm a point/age in my life (30) I can rock it and pull it off. My car it's scheduled to hit the port on this week

M Heart -

Well said, man. My 30th birthday is coming up and I think now is the perfect time to indulge a bit and live a little. YMB it is. Now... coupe or sedan. Ugh

Still agonizing on the color combo, and even model. Think I'm leaning F80, but color I've settled on BSM. However, got to admit Yasma in the wild really catches my eye every time I see it. I saw an AW F80 fully set-up with 20s once, and I also couldn't take my eyes off it - looked correct.

The ONLY thing that I hate about YMB is the metallic sheen that it has.

I LOVE my YMB. I washed it tonight and man oh man does it look good all cleaned up. I am a huge fan. It's one of my favorite car colors of all time... and I am so fortunate to have it in my garage.

YMB looks better on the F80, as it accentuates the fender flares. That's just one mans opinion.

Ironically I loved YMB in pictures but not in person. One of the few times it looked better in pics for me than in person. But that doesn't matter, what matters is that the poster likes it. The only reason to gripe is just that I wish they would've offered a better blue and YMB for those that like it.

I always find that black is the best color for cars.

I just can't get myself to appreciate all the "look at me!" colors for some reason. Maybe because I'm old and hate LEOs?
