Any of my f8x brothers on it heading to Port Hueneme, CA?

I'm the only F1X member with one on the way at the moment (it's a lonely forum) , but I want to share in this tracking experience with my fellow M brothers!

My car is heading to cali too, it says "en route to the US" as of yesterday. I can't track it nor have i gotten updates from my CA or the 1-800 number. How did you find out that yours was on the virgo leader?

Do you know when it's scheduled to arrive in the west coast?

Call BMW genius with your production number and they will tell you.

I literally found out a few minutes before posting by calling the 800 number and talking to a rep- followed by confirming with my sales rep. (I call every day at 5:55 right before they close)

It left Thursday so not everyone's status has updated yet, mine was updated today!

Docks at port Hueneme July 22nd!! What dealer are you heading off to? Mines for Crevier BMW in Santa Ana.

Given no damage occurs on the ship ride over- we should have our rides by last week of July

Ahhh, right on- Steve Thomas is definitely a great dealership, but their allocation for an individual m6 build was so far away that I went with Crevier.

Given that you're in TX- I'd say first week of August you'll be cruising around in your new ride

Hey Bud- if you have your VIN, you can go to the website and find out to see the status of your car. (I got mine from the 800 number representative a few weeks ago)

Here are the steps
1. Go to 2wglobal.com
2. Click on "track & trace"
3. Where it says Cargo ID- enter your Full or last 7 of your VIN

Then the next page should be like how I attached.

I thought I was loaded onto a NYK line was called the Virgo leader- however I got on another vessel that is actually called the Glovis Courage. Check it out! Hopefully you're on it!

My M4 is on Glovis Courage too! CA called this morning to let me know. W&W tracking shows details with VIN! YAY!!!!
Taking delivery in Portland so it should be 7-10 days extra. Hoping for 1st week of August!

Now time to obsess over exactly where there ship is in the ocean. Haha.

Nice!!! Are you being released in port Hueneme or Seattle?

Regardless- we are your support group here for the next 3 weeks which no one else will know the torture you feel outside of us going/gone through it

Haha +1. It's being released at port Heuneme then on a truck to Portland. I got it from Portland. Seattle dealers sucks. Lol.

If you are in Texas and your dealer is to, then you are NOT ON THIS ship. Your car will come in to Brunswick GA. Port Hueneme is for West coast (west of Texas) deliveries. Your ship will be significantly faster to deliver for you than for us.

I think he may be on the ship because the dealer is in Los Angeles, CA- however, he lives in Texas.

Once he looks up the VIN on the 2wglobal site he should know for sure

I am in Texas, but i bought my M3 from Steve Thomas in Cali. Even the rep on the phone thought it was weird, but i didn't care once i heard that my car was en route. I hope i can track with my VIN, but it's still not working.

Congratulations. I, along with many others are really excited to see your car in the flesh. Make sure you post some pics here even if it isn't an F8x.

M6 cars are too rare to have huge forum support. Sucks as it's a fantastic car. 6 series has the best BMW interior by far.
