Actually I was originally given a week 35 allocation on August 4th, but today it got updated to week 37. My car will be coming in to port of Baltimore (BALPOA) and then make it's way to my chicago area CA.

Here is my build info:

MSRP was $74,395, got it for about 4% off MSRP before incentives. I am getting the team USA incentive next week, but I just found out that my dealer had to put my order in as P2 and not put my name on it yet since I didn't get the team USA voucher yet. Unfortunately it's already in the system with my name and P1. I'll still get the voucher to see if there's some way we can get it added to my deal, but I'm not sure that will work out.

I'm likely going to use PenFed for a balloon finance as that option makes the most sense for us. Will be either trading in or private selling our 2013 X3. This M3 will also be getting 3 car seats in the back as we have our 3rd child on the way in december. Oddly enough, the back seat of the M3 measured 1 inch wider than our X3 from latch anchor to latch anchor. Also planning on picking up a set of winter tires and wheels from tirerack, because Wisconsin and snow.

This is the first ever car I've ordered from the factory, so it's been an experience thus far, but very exciting!

Which car seats are you going with? I have three as well with one rear-facing.

Others using the recaro baby seats and having little/no problem. Actually some pretty funny comments if you care to take a look. Check my previous post and there are some pics of current setups! I was curious about the same as we are newly expecting our third as well!

I guess I am technically in this camp with a September build. It's been a struggle to get this far, I just hope the final pieces fall into place.

You are on the step just prior to going into step 150.

I just entered into 150 from step 112.

150 is when they start building the car.

Two diono Radian R120's for the forward facing kids, and a combi coccoro for the rear facing. Once the last kid is forward facing we'll get a 3rd diono radian R120. The key to fitting 3 car seats in the back is to use the seatbelt securing method (you can't use the latch system if you want to fit 3).

The reason for the combi rear facing is because it's "short" and a diono radian doesn't fit rear facing unless the front seat passenger or driver sits on the dashboard. The combi solves that problem.

wow my prod date was wk 39 . So it should be entering production within next couple of weeks ? How long it takes to move to 150 generally?

Oh man you got me all excited, I hope this is a good sign of things to come!! I have a week 36 build as well, if my car started production this week I'd probably run around the neighborhood yelling and doing cartwheels.

By the way what date did you get 112 status? Just curious, as mine went to 112 on monday august 17th.

I was on the couch holding my 3 week old (still am (paternity time off work is a great thing lol)) and almost crapped my pants (instead of the baby doing it this time)!!!!

When my wife gets home from the store I'm going to get on my bike to take a victory lap around the neighborhood!!!!

SO FREAKING STOKKKED!!!! Has been a two year process to get this car!
