Just a note: this will throw off your TPMS sensors. They will report the wrong wheel. Not a huge issue, just a comment.

Good thing with BMW is you can reset the tpms sensors and it'll register the correct values

Yes, it told me I had a flat, so I reset them and now everything seems as it should be.

If the tires have a directional rotation, switch them front to rear (if they're all the same size). The results usually bring a smile.
Ding ding ding ding! FIXED!!

My car would be in a ditch within 5 seconds before this fix. These cars are so high-tech that it never occurred to me (or the dealer) to try a decades-old technique as simple as this one. Thank you, Milban. I test drove the car after the swap and took both hands off the wheel, and BAM! It tracks true. I'm SO HAPPY that this didn't turn into one of those "re-flash the steering software" things that others have reported with e-steering on other makes.

While I was in there, I noticed that the cooling vents on the new M direct the cooling air to swirl through the wheel well. All earlier M's just dumped a blob of air near the dust covers. I'd be interested to find out whether this is to improve cooling, or reduce drag, or reduce debris getting behind those dust shields. BTW the shields are farther from the disks than earlier M's, and irregularly shaped, so much less prone to trapping stones and twigs that make awful screeching noises.
Glad to hear that this worked. I thought the tires were directional... I will have to check when I get home. Does anyone have insight to this for the 19" wheels.

I have this problem also. F80 19" wheels

Anyone have an update? Is your car still pulling or have they found a fix?

The dealer has checked the alignment and swapped the tires but still pulls. They want to replace the front swivel bearing to one that gives the front right wheel -.30 more camber. Part # 31217853640

Current Camber is:
FL -1.20
FR -1.05 with new part -1.35

Any thoughts?

These cars are designed to pull to the right to avoid head on collisions. My 335is is the same.

Maybe BMW sets the spring rate on the driver side a bit different for US-spec cars to account for fat-ass Americans. So if you're actually a normal weight the car pulls right. :

I think others were
Complaining about the alignment, might be a factory related issue.

A while back I realized that most roads are not flat. If you roll a marble in a straight line on the right hand side of a road that is slightly sloped downward from the middle on both sides, the marble will pull to the right due to gravity. I think it goes same for cars. Only way to test is on perfectly flat pavement which is harder to find than you'd think since most roads have a slight slope to them for drainage or whatever. Just my 2 cents.

I agree. Tested on two lane country road and it did go to the right. Tested again same road left lane and it went to the left. Seemed to notice it more the faster I drove. On then track...straight line.

Mine pulls hard right to, suspect radial drag though gonna swap tires. Should do the trick.

Wow, more and more people are coming forward on this issue. I hope BMW will do something about it as it's bugging the crap out of me.
