well idk how many M3's are in places like Arkansas... SoCal is crazy man. Having an M3 here is as common as having a civic somewhere else. esp in OC/LA

Well I was one of those that thought this would never happen but it happened to me yesterday. Here I thought this whole time it was driver error that was causing these failures but it clearly isn't and yes from Cali Bay area.

Or maybe it's just that as the platform ages, more leases are returned, more have aged out of warranty, and as the price drop has made this car more accessible to the masses, there are simply more tuned cars and more 2nd and 3rd owners beating the shit out of their cars.

Certainly isn't a conspiracy by a SSR. They just happen to have an antidote to a problem and apparently are very good at applying that antidote.

Why all the hate???

If you don't believe in fixing your hub...DON'T. And if you don't believe your seatbelt helps, don't wear it. No one else cares

No need to state the obvious, people who don't believe in fixing their hubs are not. And if you don't like to wear your seatbelt, well, that's your business.

You're triggered by one's observations. Relax.

Triggered? I'm not particularly upset brother. It's just that every time someone posts about a failure of a crank hub, there are pages and pages of posts denying it is a problem and/or blaming vendors for promoting a fix for said problem.

I'm actually pretty relaxed. Just finished a bike ride and yoga lol
