Does anyone here have a CarPlay retrofit interface fitted when they’re flashing? I have one coming, and have been thinking about bootmod3 as well.

Burble question….yes I know it's somewhat of a hot topic.

When I'm using the ACN91 on the multi map, I have a burble I customized which I'm happy with (too lazy to double check them) but when I switch to the CS map, I get a burble longer in duration and more aggressive than I care for. Going back to ACN91 I'm back to the burble I originally configured for the multi map.

Do I need to go in and individually customize burbles for each map?

I remember requesting this feature in the "feature request" section on their site a few years ago and getting a somewhat vanilla answer like "they will look into it", so I would not hold your breath. But at least they have still been coming out with some other nice functionality with the platform.

The closest you will come to that functionality now is if you were to Jailbreak your iPhone….

CarPlay probably won’t happen as Apple is super strict on what apps are allowed to be enabled for it so I doubt it.

Most likely true, and unfortunate, as there are probably many similar diagnostic/utility apps like BM3 that would significantly enhance the functionality of CarPlay.

Yes, you would need to customize burbles for each map when the OEM/Original burble is different from what you want.

Another note. The more Ethanol run the lighter the burble, so increase Aggression as desired for effect.

I retrofitted then BM3 and no issues. However Bimmercode will not recognize your retrofit.

Good to hear!

By not recognise, you mean the headunit can't be coded with Bimmercode after the MMI box is installed? If so that doesn't bother me too much, I've coded all the things I wanted on the NBT already!

Oh, by retrofit I took it to mean you were upgrading the head unit not that MMI box thing. If you keep your head unit the same BC will recognize your HU.

Why don't you just get the Kies wireless unit. It works with everything including MHD.

I'm trying not to run wireless because of the power draw. I have my obd cable hard wired from the obd port under the dash and into the console with a lightning cable sticking out ready to go when I want to log.

I also have a wireless dongle but I rarely use it.

I recently purchased that one as well, based on the info from the forums. While I don’t “routinely” use it (for BM3, BimmerCode, BimmerLink, etc), when I have used it, I have not had any issues…

Hey everyone. Any ideas as to why there is no dme com after flashing a tune? I tried like 6 different ENET cables but maybe they are all trash? I really hope I didn't brick the dme because my warranty is about to go out the door lol.

I'm sorry but you posted this same question in 5 different threads with hardly any detail. Please read through all 5 threads entirely and then provide the relevant details. You will see from reading which details are relevant (battery, cable, adapter, phone/laptop, exactly what you did, etc.)
