In the USA, M2C iron rotors and calipers are bigger than the M3 iron rotors.

In Europe, the M2C standard iron rotors and calipers are the same as the M3 standard rotors and calipers, M2C optional iron rotors and calipers are bigger than M3 standard rotors and calipers.

Ok, so the M2C use the 400x36mm front discs and 6-pots as standard equipment in US? I didn't know that. Thanks for clarifying!

I wanted to write informatively, after installing the M2C brake system I went for a while without coding, after two weeks I did coding and there is a big difference, faster response, the brakes are more sensitive ..... I recommend it to all who did not do it

anyone did testing how it performs against stock brakes?

we already know its heavier than stock

how it compares to Brembo 6 pistons M6 BBK?
how it compared to Brembo Panamera 6 pistons calipers (7PP615123) ?

Who did the coding for you? I'm thinking 6 pot/4pot as well but assuming M2C coding would fit that too.

my friend did the coding for me ... I also thought at the beginning that coding is not necessary, but after coding you can see a significant difference ...

Was wondering if anyone had info on pad options for the M2C(2nh 4 pot) Brake pads? I can find plenty of front pad makes but the rears Ive only found one Ferodo.

Thanks

these are approximately 12kg heavier in total, if used with gold calipers even more ( correct me if I am wrong here) .

Considering coupled with heavy 666m, 30 front sidewall and stock suspension setup there must be a huge difference between stock brakes 437m vs 666m + m2c brake setup.nearly 20-25kg rotational mass difference.

Can someone who used both share the experiences?

Thanks

The difference in weight is not felt at all, I tested the serial system earlier, let's face it, it's not Formula 1 to take away any weight at any price ... if someone builds a car typically for the track, it matters, for normal driving it has absolutely no meaning , someone wrote that there is a huge difference in favor of the serial brake system ... then I will say that it is nonsense .....

My friend who is in the Motorsport Brake Industry, made me some custom street / track compound brake pads for the M2C OEM 6/4 pot calipers for use with the steel/iron rotors. I am just in love with my braking performance! I have the Gold CCB calipers paired with Girodiscs. These pads will work on the Gold CCB, the Silver M2C, and the Red M Performance 6/4 pot brake calipers.

The characteristics are low dust and low noise (not no noise) and they work very well under higher temperature and beginner to intermediate track use and are streetable as well. I personally run them on the street and another friend of my friends runs them on the track on his M2C and he is very quick and absolutely loves the pads.

My friend mostly private labels for a lot of other companies and works in the Motorsport market but made a few sets of these pads for me as a special request.

Compound - SP2
Material - Semi metallic
Temp range - 25 to 600 C
Thickness: 20 mm front, 18 mm rear (same as OEM thickness)

If anyone is interested in a set of pads for the front, rear or a complete set, please PM me and I can get you in touch with him.

Here's some pics of my setup and car. Sorry, don't have any close ups of the rear brakes/pads.

Ok think of it suspension wise. the amount shocks need to apply. how about now?
so put heavier wheels - nah you wont feel
put heavy suspension - nah you wont feel
heavier brakes - nah you wont feel.

i mean at some point this has to be felt

All of F8x M3/M4's have the same blue brakes which are 380mm front and 370mm rear, if they do not have the S2NKA / Carbon Ceramic Brake option / Gold calipers.

Had a quick bout of stupid. Been looking at rotors too long.

Will stock calipers only accommodate 380x30mm or can it go 380x32/34/35?

Not too sure about that. I'd stick with OEM sizes to be safe.

With the 2NH Brake upgrade, front are 400mm rotor with a 6 pot caliper and rear are 380mm rotor with a 4 pot caliper.

Forgive me if this has been mentioned already. But is there a M2C bundle that I can get without the red brake calipers? I want everything in the kit but I specifically want the OEM gold calipers instead. What's the most effective way to part this out, just order it all separately?
