Selling my Honda FK8 and go for M4 manual? Will I miss my FK8?
Hi
I know it's such a weird comparison but I want to hear some inputs. A bit of context here. FK8 in my country costs about 108k usd new. I just moved to UK and will be living here for about 2 years. I consider selling my FK8 for 87.5% of what I paid for (It's got 15k miles +). Here in the UK, I found one manual M4 with about 11k. I strongly consider getting this one. To those that have driven or owned FK8, do you miss them? FF vs FR I know it's very different but the feeling of attachment is there. What do you think? |

Going from FWD Type R to RWD F8x, I doubt anyone would regret that progression.
But in real world context, what kind of roads will you be doing most of the driving and what's the speed range? |

NGL, I had to duckduck FK8. I hadn't heard that term before.
I agree with the other poster - RWD>FWD.

rwd is better
the civic is going to have more personality and honda makes better / more engaging manuals and steering though. still, rwd and 2 more cylinders usually trumps that in my book.

I’ll try to go contrary of what I think everyone on an M forum will probably say.
The CTR’s size might be a bit better suited to UK roads and parking spaces. I’d probably have a panic attack parking my F80 at the Tesco by my family’s house over there. Yeah that’s all I really got. |
