Audi S5 convertible. Actually was hysterical. I'd blow by him when he wanted to do a pull, then i'd slow down and let him start catching up, only to gun it again when he came close (mind you he was already probably going 20 mph faster as approaching)

True. Seems like everybody suddenly have a road rage and drive like a complete idiot. I just cruise and don't really pay attention to them.

Happens often to me. Mostly older BMW 3 series and other makes that you know won't beat our cars. I Never give it a go just because it's not worth that few seconds of thrill and endanger yourself and especially others on the road. If a performance car pulls up next to me I usually give them the thumbs up and let them pass or signal them to go. I did have this one time this Mazda 3 I believe was trying to race me on the freeway and literally I was in efficient cruising. Dude kept honking to get my attention and I ignored him. He was also with his girlfriend so maybe he was trying to impress her? Lol

Scion FR-S, with exhaust tried to race me when going back to home. He lifted off on after he passed me when he found I didn't want to punch it. On the next light, engaged the beast, 2 shifts, and he was a small dot in the horizon.

He pulled up in his cruiser a couple of nights ago and said he wouldn't turn on his lights if i "got away". I'll report back from either my living room or jail. Not OC, he is down in Bonita, in South San Diego. |

Yesterday I had a silver 528i (looked like 14?) on the LIE that I passed in normal traffic, next thing I see, he's on my right passing me and cutting in front of me and driving hard. I just figured it was a typical "NY" idiot weaving through moderate traffic.
A few miles down, I happened to catch up (traffic volume) and he starts again -- weaving through traffic. By Queens Blvd, I'm on his bumper and off he goes. If he was driving hard the whole way I wouldn't have even noticed but every time I caught up, he just went into idiot mode to stay "ahead of the M3". Douche with penis envy? |

The M3 entered THE GENNY ZONE on Saturday.
It. Was. AWESOME! I was driving with my wife on the toll road where the posted speed is 75 MPH and I had the cruise control set at 80. This road is wide, flat, and fast, with 3 or 4 lanes and plenty of room for passing. I was in the slow lane. And then... (play Jaws soundtrack here) the mighty Genesis approached me from the rear. And there it stayed, not exactly tailgating, but not passing either... just stalking me. DARING me to make a move, so that it could strike. The M3 did not take the bait, knowing it had entered the Genny Zone. The M3 would not be hypnotized by this predator. It remained steadfast, cruising at 80. But the Genesis would not be denied. It would have it's prey. Luckily for me a Nissan Z unwittingly became it's victim. The Z made the mistake of flying by in the fast lane. The Genesis spotted this and struck without hesitation. Moving quickly from behind me, 2 lanes to the left, and WOT onto the Z's tail. And they disappeared into the horizon... into... The Genny Zone. |

The biggest issue for me are these young punks in their jacked up Diesel trucks trying to have a go at the M. It never fails. Every time I come to a light and one of them pulls up next to me, they want to have a go.
But, I never take the bait. The gut wrenching sound of Country music coming from their vehicles and that trail of extensive black smoke makes laugh so hard!! |

Had a new Merc E350 estate with some driver rage issues prodding me yesterday..no thanks. As others have said, it's always someone. I could literally race others to and from work every GD day if I wanted...perpetual race mode. Other BMWs are usually the worst (4-series GC in 420d Msport are the most prevalent). |

I don't know you guys, but I believe the Lexus IS drivers are being too aggressive and reckless lately. Man, even worse than those Bimmer drivers (e-hem)...
Last Friday I was cruising at 65 at US27, next to the intersection with the Turnpike, northbound. Then, from the rear came this white IS350 and since both lanes were full, he took the auxiliary lane which is the Turnpike's merger lane, on the right, which also merges to the slow lane (which I was using, along with 20 other cars and trucks). Needless to say, that was extremely irresponsible, given the fact that he punched it, and the road was filled with heavy traffic (even dump trucks filled with rocks, those stop for nothin). |

1986 clapped out Pontiac 6000 on a mountain highway. Let him by and followed at respectful distance watching him just about under steer off the road at every switchback. As I closed in, he went into a lookout so, in his mind, he won! From my point of view, it was highly amusing. Would of been funnier if he went through a speed trap and got pulled over while I cruised by. That has happened to me as well except it was an Mercedes 500 convertible.

Acura TSX. Later today I found out that a co-worker was driving it and wanted to see "how fast" my M3 was around the corners. We have a nice right-left long curves before we get into the parking lot, and I punched it when I was entering the 1st curve (I do it every morning, for fun), and he tried to keep up (he was behind). Later he told me he had to let go, it was too much for his Acura.
