from 18' f82 zcp to 13' GTR ?
Hello everyone ,
I currently have a 2018 f82 zcp since May 2022 and I'm thinking about moving to the next one in a few months it will be my dream car 'the nissan GTR', except that given the prices I'm thinking of the 2013 version , what do you think? I would regret? I'm also thinking of the f90 but I know the gtr will always be on my mind |

If you like speed and being unique, it's a no brainer to go GTR. Def less comfort but they can be insanely fast and reliable

i've owned both. '15 f80 and 2010 gtr fbo e85.
they can make similar power with bolt ons. the gtr is limited by its trans and con rods. the f8x by traction. You can fit massive tires on the GTR which combined with awd give it huge advantages in traction whether its acceleration or braking or holding G's through a turn. thats the gtr's main advantage. it has more traction in more situations. you can feel the awd taking over and helping you claw out of corners. shuffling power around to each wheel. the f8x feels lighter. its more agile. its got a nicer interior. its got more modern features and build techniques. the dct gets 7 gears, the gtr gets 6. which is nice for the highway cruising. the f8x was created in 2014, the gtr in 2007. why are you tired of your M4 after only 3 months ?

So here was my dilemma. Getting a brand new m340xi with all the latest tech and gadgets and cool features, AWD as I live in an area that sees snow sometimes or I would travel to snowy regions or just get the bmw m4 which has always been my dream car.
A friends advice to me and he said "get the bmw m4, it's a no brainer 1) it's a real M car and 2) most importantly, even if you got the m340 you'll always think about the m4 because at the end of the day the m4 is your dream car not the m340. So I think that applies for you as well. I'd say get the GTR because you'll always think about owning a GTR if that's your dream car, perhaps, if you don't get it now, within a few months of a diff car you'll own, by the time you consider your next car again, you'll think about the GTR once again.
