Absolutely not, on both points. The only term that describes carbon fiber composites (carbon fibers, typically fabric and a resin) and carbon ceramic composites is that they are both just that, composites. The rear section of the roof and trunk line looks like G37 sedan. I'm not sure how I feel about it.

Overall it looks more bloated than the E92 M3 from the side. I like the front end. The rear bumper looks very busy...

I disagree with the guy above. I see the similarities between the g and m4 but thy lk very different. I just hope thy offer this with a better interior. Just a little nicer than the last m3. (and I dont mind paying extra for upgraded interior) BMW I love the rear btw. The production car better look just like this.

An /// Car engine bay always looked special - E30 (S14), E36 (S50), E46 (S54), E60 (S85) and E92 (S65). But no longer in the current lot of /// cars. Yes, the cars look aggressive and everything motorsport, but the heart of it all has changed forever. Is it a good thing, I don't know.

The engine power is still under the Merc's AMG C63 especially the quoted torque. But I am sure a lighter car will be a lot more nimble where it matters.
