Autocross Class Questions
Hey forum,
I just purchased a 2017 ZCP 6MT. It looks like this car is classed in BS in SCCA Solo. I need to buy wheels any tires and need to clarify the rules. Question is, can I run 18s since this is a ZCP that came with 20s? The rules say only +- 1", but since 20s are an option, can I get away with running 18s? The region I run with usually isn't strict but I would like to stay within the rules for division and national events.

I've never seen an approved deviation to the letter of the rule. The car was built with the ZCP package and 20" wheels. Hence one would have to assume that 19" is the smallest legal diameter. However, there is a hook here...the fact that you could order the 437M 19" wheels as an option with the ZCP package. That hook might open the door to 18"?
