The M4 CSL review was mixed at best. And my god, I can't believe they put that front end on the cover....

Nice stats!

It blows my mind how much quicker that RS3 is with the stickier tires. I'd love to see the difference a F8* with the G8* spec MS4S tires, or even the regular MS4S compared to the original Pilot Sports that came on it.

Amusing Nick take on the GT4 RS, I've been following him ever since his F80 and I think he's hilarious

a car that hits it's stride at 4k-5k is my jam

Nice, 2023 M4 CSL 2.5 seconds slower than a 2019 ZL1.

ZL1 1LE (auto) - 2:45.0
M4 CSL - 2:47.5

You’d love any of the 4.0 Cayman variants, they are awesome.

Edit: Agreed, love Nick for a number of reasons, even if I don’t always agree with him or take his advice. If anything he drives the hardcore Porsche RL’ers nuts.

It's ironic how car dudes always wanna bicker about who's the REAL enthusiast who knows the REAL scoop and had all the right opinions because resume peacocking

Moreman is the same way, he drives people nuts, especially "pro" detailers who he's made look like fools by building a $20M business doing all the wrong things.

I would take an M4 CSL all day over a ZL1. I wouldn’t buy either though.

In other news, a friend of mine is going through a divorce and has a new Aston Martin and a G-Wagon that rarely gets driven; I went over to the house yesterday to help connect the Aston’s magnetic battery tender because the car was sitting in the garage with a dead battery. I’m going to start borrowing the Aston because it shouldn’t rot away in that garage.

I’d go back to a ZL1 and buy one again.

And have money left over for a manual hot hatch something on the side.

I only have seen two Aston Martins in my area, one is white the other is a metallic grey color, I wonder if it is the same person.

Also, I expected the M240i xDrive to do better than that...

Don’t be surprised if he/she offers to sell it to you if it already hasn’t happened. Kind of how I ended up with my first m3. Loved that car. 🤣

Unknown, but repaired well. Carmax sold the car to the current owner with an extended warranty (and they generally don’t sell cars with issues). The prior owner had a PPI done when they decided to purchase it a year ago. The paint reader results are pretty even throughout. And the car traded at a discount to market commensurate with the history.

This one has been parked awhile, so I think the one you’ve seen is a different one. It’s so clean!
