But sometimes i see a 4 series when i drive to work and each time i think...wow this is a big car, looks way bigger than a E92 and when i have a side view of it the angle of the cabin and hood...looks like there is something wrong ...the change of the angle of the hood and cabin looks like it's way to strong..hood jumps to strong down, actualy it's hard to explain ,but the change of this angle i realy don't like ![]()

It's got mismatched wheels so yes it is going to look weird. I have to say it looks nice in Silverstone though. Better than the E92 M3 did in my opinion.

And btw if you notice, the roof isn't in CFRP too, so the combination of some parts are needed on this car ![]() |

Yea I think the color plus no CFRP roof is a bad combo. CFRP is a must have in my opinion on the f8x and even e92

I agree, I think the CFRP roof makes these cars pop more visually. I also think the kidney grills need to be gloss black here. The chrome is kind of washed out.

Hmmm, don't feel it really, it's hopefully because of the wheels, the light conditions, the lack of the CF roof etc. Also, but that's just my opinion, it just doesn't look good with those black real wheels, the rear looks even more weird/fat, like there are no wheels, don't know how to explain.

That car is just incredibly plain looking. And the bumper treatments look even more ridiculous and immature here than they do in the press pictures.
The majority of cars you will see on the road WILL have the sunroof and not CFRP, so this is going to be a very typical example (minus the wheels of course). If you need a carbon fiber roof and loud wheels to make your car stand out, you're not doing something right. The delta between base 3-series car and the /M version continues to shrink generation after generation. |

Visually speaking, it's always been flared fenders, front/rear/side body work, ride height, and wheels (except the E36 which lacked the fenders I believe). Then the E9x added the CF roof, which the F8x continues with. Now we also get colored brake calipers too (for what it's worth), although you get those on the F3x MSport too. |

That's how I feel, I prefer the F80 so far, which is quite surprisingly since I use to be a coupe guy, too. The rear looks somehow weird, fat and huge, hard to explain. Although I like the rear look of the F82 better, if you look right from behind.
