Does my 2017 M3 have adaptive headlights?

So I bought a used 2017 fully loaded m3, I noticed that the Headlights doesnt say Adaptive or anything but on the sheet spec it does, can someone tell me if I really do have adaptive headlight. If i don't, what can I do? I bought it 9 days ago. 3/4/19

Yeah your sheet says you have them. On my E93 they are very obvious when turning the wheel at night, and I'm sure someone on here will be able to tell you a difference by looking at the headlight itself.

Yes you have the LED/Adaptive headlights - mine are LED and are the same exact headlight. The non LED headlights are still using projectors and instead of having that horizontal bar look like a sphere instead.

Your spec sheet specifically says "adaptive full LED headlights". So I have no idea what your question is.

His headlights only say BMW. I thought the adaptive LED headlights say

"BMW Adaptive LED"

This.
You'll notice the Headlights adjust themselves up/down when you turn the car on at night.

The non-adaptive LED lights in my 125i F20 LCI did that too, that’s self levelling not adaptive.

#552 adaptive LED headlights...

IF you have adaptive LED's... they should say that on the sides of the headlights - like in the picture below. Your car seems to have only LED headlights and not the Adaptive LEDs. But your option sheet says #552. I would run a VIN decoder to be sure.

Put your headlight switch in AUTO(turned to the left) and at night turn the steering wheel and see IF they headlights turn or move(side to side). They should IF you have full adaptive headlights.

Since your build sheet says you should have Adaptive LEDs.... Either your car was built without them or maybe the car was involved in a port or pre delivery accident>? (before the car got to your dealer). Or maybe the factory ran out of Adaptive LEDs and your car was built with just LED lights. ???

I would run your VIN and see what options your car has. IF it says you have Adaptive LED's... I would then go to your dealer and tell them you want Adaptive LEDs - since that is what you paid for. I'm sure they can figure it out.

His car has the ZLP Lighting Package which contains

552 Adaptive Full LED Lights
5AC Automatic High Beams

but yah, he should definitely go to the dealership and get that fixed, or if the car has a claim on it talk to the insurance company that dealt with paying for repairs

Guys, only the 2018 LCI.2 headlights actually say adaptive LED on them. All other LED headlights 2015-2017 will only show "BMW". They are indeed fully adaptive LED's but it is just not imprinted with it. The 2018 LED's do show "BMW adaptive LED". The new darker headlights with turn signal strip on top, not on corners. I'm an Mspecialist with BMW and have had a 15 with LED's and currently an 18 comp with LED's

No need to do anything or go to the dealer, they come this way but they are LED and adaptive. All attached to the VIN which is what insurance companies go by. No worries..
