I had a few questions on a new 2020 BMW M4 Lease
I am located in central florida and lurked the forums from time to time
I have a build code and ready to play.
I have read the Lease 101
Called a tampa dealership who gave me a msrp of 90K and was "willing" to knock of about 2%+ or 5K from the msrp. I stated i would call back before we go to specifics because this seemed low based on what deals everyone else is getting on the forms.

How are ppl getting 10-15% knocked off msrp on brand new builds ???
Please guide me. I am willing to call other dealers out of state just need to know where to start.

simply email other dealers, be up front with what YOU want. Some will play games, some will be straight shooters, some will take some negotiaton. When i was looking for the m5, probably emailed 20 dealers across the country.

No one is getting 10-15% off MSRP on a 2020 car. Look at the details when you read these posts. These 10-15% off deals are all on 2018 and 2019 INVENTORY cars. The most agressive deals are on the M3 CS, because there is a ton of BMW trunk money on those.

If you are ordering a car, you may get invoice minus incentives, IF you're lucky and have a solid relationship with the dealer (i.e. you've bought cars from them before, etc). More likely however, you will be 1000-$1500 above invoice. I don't even think there are any incentives on 2020 cars yet.

Title / Registration - 54

That's not a bad deal. I'd try for 12% and see what they say.

Florida? It's going to be tough if not impossible especially on a '20 model. I was in the same position earlier this year. Florida dealers are the worst. Definitely look out of state. Just be familiarize yourself with getting a lease out of state and transportation. Transporting a vehicle can turn out to be ugly.

pretty good deal BUT ... unless you're getting a manual or plan to keep this car after your lease term for some reason, why not lease a M3 CS? You would be very close in payment with these crazy deals they're doing now.

Good points. I thought about the CS, but I am thinking of keeping this after the lease. It’s got DCT, exec pkg, some other smaller options.

10k/month, fees up front with MSDs. Ended and signed at 730/month prior to taxes for the CS.

If you are thinking of keeping it, I'd just finance it and save some money.

Well, thinking of keeping it and actually keeping it is where I'm stuck. I don't know for sure. I may get bored with it, I may not. That's why I'm leaning toward leasing it.

Since you're going DCT, i would get the CS. It's a special car and probably worth the price delta if you decided to buy at the end. good luck.

Yup...the M3/4 is a great car, but even with the new G80/2 iteration, $100k is a lot for an M3/4. The CS is demonstrating this. Will be interesting to see how the new cars do. I think BMW may get pushback at some point, but who knows!

I've owned a base M3, a ZCP and now the CS and yes, it's a special car. Hoping that you were just joking with your comment.

Are you that dense? It's sitting because it's a $100k+ M3 that is now out of production and a year old on paper. It absolutely is special compared to a regular M3.

I agree with this sentiment 100%. Having owned all 3 it is indeed special. It's also a much larger jump in terms of performance from ZCP to CS than it was from Base to ZCP.

What helps me sleep at night is that it's the most powerful production M3 as of yet and I didn't pay even close to sticker for it.

Such a compelling argument. I'm going to sell my CS right now...
