CarPlay & iDrive

I'm positive this has been answered over and over, so maybe someone can point me to the right thread. I have a 2016 M4 (July build), so it does not have CarPlay. Is there ANY WAY to add CarPlay (even hack/backdoor), or is this just an impossibility with this version of iDrive?

Yes, possible.
Probably you'll need iDrive 6 FLASH + Apple CarPlay activation.

That requires ENET Cable, Windows PC and WiFi antenna.

has to be 66 plate to have new idrive otherwise its retrofit i think

Already confirmed by VIN and it's NBT EVO iDrive 4 so it's flashable.
