Looks disappointing in its non concept form, same as the M3 version in the other thread.
Very underwhelmed, maybe I was a little hasty in dropping some of its competitors from my list after all.

Unnecessarily sarcastic and hostile.

In fact, the production car and concept car are very similar. The changes are minor enough that one could make their own M4 look like the concept with a wrap and bolt-ons. Being that people make mods to their cars like this routinely, these are not major. A major change would be something related to the sheet metal or the mechanical systems (which as you know we're not even disclosed) that would be very expensive to duplicate and unlikely to be covered by first or third party aftermarket products (and yes, I would say 4 Series concept headlights and tail lights apply there).

Just look at the E92 M3 concept. Members cars have achieved that look and better. The same will hold true for the F82.

Are the front orange lights always on on American BMWs?

Not the same

While the reveal in that yellowish color was not as bad as I had expected I am sad to see the angled exhaust tips on the production model. The reveal at Pebble had straight tips. I much prefer those to the angled exhaust.

The rear of the convertible that was just posted looks much more muscular with its swirly stickers so hopefully it's just the bland white that's making the coupe look poor.

With the 435i performance parts (black kidney grills, carbon fiber exhaust) just being shown now, I feel very confident that these will be available for the M4. I have to get the black kidney grills, carbon fiber performance exhaust and carbon fiber diffuser that was on the concept. It really makes the car look great. It looks very likely that BMW will offer this which would be great!

First time looking at the M4, didn't follow the concept. To my taste the front is much too flat and what 's with this hood line ? It looks like they are saving on steel forming press manufacturing cost ( i know what I am talking about, I worked in that industry). The side looks very emaciated and thinly elongated. The only positive is the back.
I don't think this car deserve the M4 name, it has less presence than the V8 M3 and looks smaller. I would call it an M2 !

Then get Akrapovic exhaust. Or Eisenmann. Or something like that.

The point being if you don't like something, there's always an aftermarket replacement.

And very visible muffler can, like the E92. Eisenmann and others need not fear for their business!
