Tire Setup
Hi all,
i recently just got tuned on ethanol and pushing around 600 wheel. Tire tread is low so looking for a replacement anyways and was looking for a better tire setup given this extra horsepower. I live in CA and it rains a lot during the winters/spring and given this car is my daily was looking for advice on a good all season setup for this. |

With 600 whp, most switch to wider and stickier R-comp or drag rad, not switch to a tire with lower dry grip. You’ll have traction issues with an AS performance tire and 600 whp in all weather conditions.

if you are daily driving, i’d just stick to pilot sport or something like that but if you are actively making trips to “mexico”, toyo r888r’s or mickey thompson et street ss or et street r’s are the best choice imo.

I found continental extreme contact force pretty good in the rain. Not sure if that is sticky enough for you though. I am going to get another set for daily duties and wet track days. Will be similar power to you with single turbo.

Although the most power I’ve run is 540hp, I’ve found BF Goodridge Rival S tires to handle the power really well. They’re good for the NorCal rainy days too
