Rarri or Imola???? Which red looks best...

Recently had the chance to snap this pic....always wanted to see them side by side. So which red is best...Ferrari Red or Imola? Oh and BTW Imola in the front Rarri behind.

Always been a fan of Imola because of the semi darker deep rich red that seems bright still, and the fact that it is an individual BMW color. But both are hot fire.

I was pretty sure this would be a no-contest in favor of Rosso corsa, but Imola actually looks better in those pics

I was going to write exactly this. The novelty of Ferrari red is cool, but it's not like anyone would know any better. Imola takes the cake, very impressed.

I like the darker shade of Imola (somewhat bias) but both look great. Always wanted to see these two colors next to each other. Thanks for sharing!

I'm starting to think this should've been a blind test poll.... should have asked which color looks best.... front or back....and then disclosed the color a couple of days later. Seems like the Ferrari name and Imola nostalgia are heavily weighing in the decision.

This. When I opened the thread and saw the question I stopped reading and opened the photo. I ended up selecting the one on the right. The lighter color I think allows more of the lines and character of the car to show.

Not sure if that's all the color or if the lighting conditions were slightly different for the one on the right - looks like there is more of a glare on that one vs the one on the left appears slightly under cover overhead?

It could just be the lighting but I think I prefer the Imola slightly more. I love both IR and RC but I think IR might suit the M3 lines more....hard to tell from only 2 pics though.

I really wish they made any shade of red a standard color on the F80. They look soooo good in it.

I kind of made my decision blindly. When the thread opens, there’s this huge picture that draws your eye immediately, with a small amount of text floating at the top that i didn’t read at first.

The left car really drew my eye because of the deepness of red. Although it’s all a matter of opinion, because Kooch did the same thing and selected the car on the right.

Now, the question is, after the mind makes a snap judgment, you read the text and figure out which is which. do you then stay true to that initial judgment, or do you become more influenced by a preference for Ferrari or classic BMW?

I believe the first pic is truest to both colors... it's a head on shot both sharing relatively same lighting conditions.

Personally I'd say it's a coin flip, the only reason I'd pick Ferrari is because of the exclusivity in this F8X platform. Imola had a free color run which I believe there should be more samples of... otherwise color vs color... flip a coin and I'll be equally happy!
