installing my first methanol kit

hi guys I've just ordered methanol kit from burger tuning. its my first methanol kit to install and i have a question.

as we all know map 8 is for the methanol kit what will happen if i switched to map 2 or any other map will the kit stop working?

I use meth with map 2 map 5 and map 8

Meth flows by default on maps 6, 7, and 8. But there are settings to make it map8 only, or all maps, depending on what you're trying to do. Map8 is the progressive meth map though. Boost will be held lower until meth is flowing (to avoid tip in knock/lean run) and then boost is increased proportional to meth flow.

do u have the setting to set for all maps? i want to stay on map 2 with the meth kit if possible

My timing is better in map 8 then map 2. Will go on track with map 5 and meth/water only for cooling

for now i understand everything except data logging methanol tab.
from reading forums i understood that i should set :

Boost additive (0-75) : 40
Signal scaling (0-100) : 60
Min Flow Boost (PSI) : 12

& 0 for External Trigger.

do i have any mistakes ?

I also want to know more about the meth setting , I follow Terry suggestion set 40 , 60 , 10 on "methanol setting" , and I am running octane 93 , map8 is great but before meth flow , it just like oem , map2 is better performance on lower rpm ...
Now just know we can use meth on other map , how we can set it ?
Do I need connect computer ? Coz I only connect with phone app
Any issue if using meth on other map , such as map2?

not yet at my country methanol is hard to get.
they only sell it before winter season ( November ) 90-100$ per 5 gallons

I never do the dyno for my car , I only can measure it by my butts , as my feeling with suggested methanol setting , 2500-3500 rpm map8 torque feel like map0 , but after reach 4000 , you will feel much torque come out , even on high rpm , you can feel power keep on push out , especially on 4th and 5th gear , that's only my feeling , may be the reality is different story

Btw , I love map8 , seem suitable for my city , Coz my living place all around bumpy roads, hugh initial torque may be no help for the speed
