Awesome, such a quick turn around. Thank you.

For now I'm just running the S2 E85 OTS map. Runs fine...albeit a little light on the PSI at 20 but I'll take it.

Update 8/26/2021

I received the new MHD CAN Module the day after it was shipped and I can confirm it fixes the reading issues but it does now give me a shadow code for the signal. I'm told I can ignore it so I do.

I also decided to take a break off running my custom tune since it's still got a ways to go and filled with 91 and ended up at a 'E23' blend. I thought, what the hell. Let's try this Stage 2+ OTS 93OCT map. I know it's not necessarily correct science but I figured ~23% ethanol is equivalent to a 93 octane fuel so I gave it a spin. I have say, this is probably the beefiest OTS map I've ran thus far. It's incredible. I'm reading 23PSI from my logs and it idles like stock.

Hi Levan,

I've just bought one of your kits, I'm in the uk so not much support for mhd over here everyone uses bm3.
Once I've installed the flexfuel kit and selected the option on mhd will it adjust the map on the car automatically according to the ethanol content? or will I have to select the e85 map?

Im sorry, just saw this post

yes, that's the whole point, DME will automatically adjust the tune based on sensor reading,
it means, you don't have to worry about measuring actual E85 blend, nor reflashing your dme with according blend map, its all done automatically in live, you just enjoy driving it

It's been some time now and I am in the later stages of my custom flex fuel tune by WedgePerformance. There was definitely some kinks that needed to be ironed out by MHD which they have. I also had to have my ECA CAN unit swapped and it was super quick thanks to Levanime.

I can't stress enough how great it is to have a ECA that is THIS easy to install (that also works good). I feel pretty confident I'm one of the first to test this out thoroughly with a tuner (in the US) and from day 1 to now it's a night and day difference in terms of product polish.

I will get dyno results posted once my tuner and I feel l it's 'time' but during the last roller session (to capture logs) I was well into the 600whp range with low effort boost levels as we're trying to nail down my fueling limits.

Thank you MHD Tuning
Those switching to MHD tuning platform from BM3, do you need to flash everything back to stock or just start flashing with MHD tuning software? Transmission dct GTS tune on MHD better than BM3 dct GTS tune?

I did because it just seemed like the right methodology but you probably don't have to. I'd check with MHD/BM3 for specifics.

Hey, I'm another guy who switched from bm3 to mhd. I got the ethanol analyzer too. I have a question, do you think i will have more HP going stage2+E30 tune or have the flexfuel on and run around e35? Thank you. Btw, i prefer MHD over BM3 too.

I honestly feel the most sauce from S2+ 93 ACN tune or the S2+ E30 tune. For the 93 tune I run about 22-25% ethanol. It's a rocket. I did 563 whp on the DYNO on that flash. No kidding.

Another follow up, I have a tuner who is local and only runs bootMod3. Is there a way to get the MHD sensor to run on BootMod as well so I can change software as needed back and forth without having to get a new sensor?

I'd ask BM3 but they are also releasing their own CAN ECA unit, saw it on their Instagram a few weeks ago.

I’m asking absolutely everyone I can trying to get this info haha. Thanks for the tip and the lead on the BM3 CAN. There are other options out there as well that are certainly compatible with both, I just don’t want to shell out a second time if I don’t have to….

I would wait for the BM3 unit. I didn't necessarily like the support I got from Zeitronix when I had my FF kit installed. BM3 looks like it will be a quality solution.

+1 wait for it. In theory a CAN unit should work by nature of how it interfaces with the ECU but you know-branding, sales, lol. We can't always beat 'the man.'

Is there a way to read the ethanol content via the gauge cluster like BM3 with MHD flex fuel?

They posted this 2 days ago. No mention of S55 and looks like it's a PITA to check the content.

The menu system is pretty cool, though.

Thanks. Hopefully they add this feature to all platforms.

This is pretty clunky but I ended up getting a new iPad mini to keep interfaced with the MHD ENET adapter so I can just view the ethanol content whenever I want.

Why not just get a jb4, you can use your phone to look at everything instead of having a iPad

I don't like using my phone for monitoring or logging. I've noticed not being in airplane mode will sometimes cause hiccups or breaks in datalogging. Plus disconnecting from CarPlay constantly just to interface with the phone is just inconvenient.

Hi I’m looking to set my M4 up with my jb4 and go mhd backend flash and use the mhd flex fuel can bus setup. which bef should I use when going full e85 with a flex fuel can bus setup? And will the tune automatically adjust then with whatever the ethanol content that is in the tank? I’m currently running the jb4 and mhd bef E85_ing_15.bin with full e85 in tank and am hoping the can bus flex fuel gives me more. Also what maps on the Jb4 are recommended when using the bef and full e85 with and without a flex fuel can bus?
Also I have all jb4 connections including ewg. Is map7 or 2 going to give me more power? Should I be turner up loop to 70 as others have in the past?

thanks so much
