Bilstein B6 damptronics was installed this April car felt great but now feeling bouncy again and not composed and jump around. I can feel some oscillation in the suspension and its like the front and rear axle not talking to each other. Strange it felt like that (the oscillation) when I fitted the 20mm springs with the stock stocks so am wondering if the springs are just crap? or surely its can't be the Bilstein's?

What make are your springs? I doubt the shocks are to blame tbh.

They call “Stance” from a company call Mototech. TBH I never been totally happy with these spring because when I got them install on the car which was only 4wks old the drop great but the car felt nervous and the oscillation from the front suspension was a bit nuts. I took it back to a company that installed them and they did some suspension adjustments which calm the issue down a lot but it’s was still there. So April gone this year I fitted B6 damptronic and 90% of the oscillation was gone suspension felt nice and firm. I done 1700mls it’s has soften up and rides over pot hole fine but that oscillation is back and doing my head in. I do think these spring are rubbish as they never performed good. Looking into a spring that well matched to to B6 if anyone had any input.

Eibach pro kit. Recommended 100%. Many have these, and for good reason.
Eibach part number is E10-20-031-09-22
Shop around, a set can often be found around £140/£160 delivered.

I don't know tbh. With the Bilsteins it sits a bit higher than on the stock EDC shocks, down to how the front springs sit. But it's still slightly lower than stock CP setup.

yeah I gain an 1' all round with the B6, wish they made the B8 a damptronic since its a shorter shock. Anyway might try the H&R 30mm to lose that extra inch just hope the ride not to rough.

Those h&r supersports are meant to be a really harsh ride by all accounts.

Ok I fitted the recommended Eibach on Saturday and it's transformed the whole car. The oscillation has gone and the car feels planted now, I driven on all the roads that i use in my area were the car just bucked, skipped and jumped around, now it just guide over the bumps. Suspension feels nice and taunt now were before it felt sloppy and nervous, can't believe the Stance springs was causing all the problem. Anyway I can now move on and think of the next mod I want to do. P.s car sits a little higher now (more at the front) but hope it's drops a bit once the Eibach's settles in.
