For those looking for mobile phone mounts, WeatherTech recently announced their CupFone. Seems interesting, but the price is arguably a bit steep, at least here in Canada ($60, versus $35 in the US).

Did you get one? Wonder how well it would accommodate a phone given the (close to dash) cup holder location in an F82/F83.

just ordered it for my m3. does it block any of the a/c controls?

no, I don't think so - I'm not in my car right now but don't recall ever having any difficulty or inconvenience pressing the seat-warmer or defrost buttons, which are above the docked phone.... and I keep my phone plugged in at the bottom to use the USB input, so it even sits higher than yours might, and still no problem...

nice. post a pic when you get a chance. can you have the phone plugged in while using it?

not sure I can take a pic OF the phone WITH the phone but I'll see if I can figure out something :-)
Yes, absolutely can use the phone while it's plugged in - I have a 3' cable plugged into the arm rest USB running down under/beside the seat and then up to the phone/Belkin

Good to know, I've heard many complaints with the Belkin one failing which has kept me away.

The part that grabs the phone is great, the part the goes into the cup holder sucks. They replaced mine, and the second one broke just like in the pics. I saw one of the reviews where the guy used a fender washer and a special recessed nut. Did that over the summer and both units have held up so far.

I did see the weather tech one and if these took another shit I’d try that one.

Hopefully Beklin make a fix, cause other than this, they generally have good stuff it seems.
