Huh lol?!? I lease cause it's easier to have a car I can sell or return and not have to worry about it. BMW's programs specifically make that easy.

Also I don't like the idea of tying up cash in what usually is a depreciating asset unless I'm certain I'm going to keep it.

This is a very interesting post. For one, the car is absolutely beautiful. Perfectly maintained by what appears to be a very ocd owner (I'm very ocd and am a sucker for perfectly maintained cars). For two, it's modded, which reduces the buying pool but could provide value to a specific buyer. Three, however, mods and the individual color unfortunately don't mean much in the re-sell market unless you find that "perfect" buyer.

Not here trying to add anything tbh, except a free bump. Just a very interesting "for sale" ad when it's clearly marked "this is not priced for sale." I've been around these forums a lot and the M3 tax is real on the forums but this one is the most interesting.

Hopefully the seller isn't mocked too much because the car looks great and I'm sure he is a good person. The car is certainly special. Hopefully he finds a buyer that will pay more than its market value, which appears to be in the 45-60k range (being a 2015, individual color, mods that void the warranty but provide some value to a limited buying group, provide exclusivity on the forums/at car meets/etc).

I think you just have higher expectations of the members in this forum than I do. Maybe you're right but who really knows. I doubt it's going to make a difference at the end of the day. Anyone serious knows what's going on here.

I've seen this shit happen. I knew it would happen. I even wrote in the main post a disclaimer and it still happened. I mean at the end of the day the more people want to trash the thread the more people see it. No harm done to me. Eyeballs are eyeballs.

You have to realize that half of Bimmerpost is here to troll and the other half are decent people trying to help out. I only post if I have something worthy to post or helpful or am looking for help. That's just how I feel from being a member for years and seeing the way people act.

Thanks! And you're 100% correct. Car is only for sale because I'm looking to sell it to the right buyer at the right price. In my life, everything is for sale if it's the right price.

Do not disagree with what you are saying here, but it also doesn't mean you should (or need to) automatically lower yourself to the level of the trolls. Nothing wrong with a little self-respect

And I have no doubt if you lower your price down to a relatively reasonable level, it will sell fast! It's stunning!

A car will only sell for what a buyer is willing to pay for it. It's simple. This holds true 100% of the time. That said, we use tools that give us average market value to come up with a sell price. By doing so we are opening up a larger pool of buyers. That's why we price cars at market levels......so we can sell them.

The OP has priced his car high and there will be a fool who will pay the OP what he wants. How do you think dealers sell cars for outrageous markups? There is always that one sucker. It takes time but they are there and OP is waiting for him/her to show up
