Prepare for questions from insurance company.
Why didn't SUV hit the car if he was ahead of you? Was he slamming on brakes because he could see car turning and you couldn't see? We're you overtaking SUV on left at higher rate of speed? Other driver got the ticket which is huge just be prepared to have your story straight and don't let them shift the blame to you. UR M3 was a cool spec - may it RIP. |

The lane to the left a big suv is making a left, in his lane he has a green light ahead and is driving through an intersection. Embecile making a left across the opposite side likely can't see his lane due to big suv and just enters intersection like an idiot and causes accident. OP should have nothing to talk about |

Repairable write off mate and sorry for your loss. Unless they find out that some of the key components are also damaged, then statutory write off.
I wouldn't let my insurance to fix that and drive again. |

99% totaled.
It's probable that your firewall is meaningfully out of true, and i'd bet that your front subframe is bent to hell as well. Food for thought: – Make sure the insurance company values you based on current market (https://www.cargurus.com/Cars/price-trends/BMW-M4-d2258) If feasible, try to buy the car back from insurance after the payout, tell them you're going to use it as a track car, and either do that, or part it out and profit.

just an update insurance is totaling it, took them forever. adjuster said they marked it total on first inspection, but they use a third-party repair estimator group, and they were going back and forth with the shop to get estimates? Still waiting for the ACV offer for the car should be next week. I want the new g80 now but with car prices inflated and allocation scarcity its gonna suck.
