I'm actually curious if he was trying to drift into that corner or if he was going straight and lost it.

You have to be confident af in your driving skills to go flying into a corner at that speed thinking you can control the drift. I think it's the latter tbh

My guess is he just suddenly gunned it going straight. RWD + cold tires + cold weather. Car can go sideways real fast even with traction control on.

Can this really happen with traction control on? My TC is so invasive it kicks in even on 3rd to 4th gear shifts when it's cold. It seems the TC won't let the car slip much at all.
