Would a sunroof vs cf roof be a deal breaker for you?
If you wanted a carbon fiber roof but it had a moonroof, would that be a deal breaker for you? Or vice versa.
I'm thinking about a car and it's BSM. But someone had to order it with the moonroof option |

100% deal breaker. I would never go with a sunroof if the CF is being offered for free. On a M, it's a no brainier
That said, for some folks the sunroof is a must have so I guess to each their own but it's certainly not for me

My M4 has a moonroof and I ordered it that way - not a deal breaker for me

If BSM is what you want, then I say it should not matter since CF gets lost on BSM and MG. Probably the reason why the car was ordered with moonroof.

After thinking BSM seems like a nice color, too many white ones, and i've grown less fond of YMB. |

Also, keep in mind that darker colors are tough to keep clean. I had black and MG before and that was a primary reason for me going with SSII.

Nope~
I ordered my car with a Moonroof. I hate being enclosed in a cabin for a car and I'm not even claustrophobic. I also dislike getting CF Roof just because it is a CF Roof like everyone else.

Deal breaker indeed. My build was for bsm with cf roof. Cf doesn't get "lost" in the black. I think it accentuates it perfectly, especially in sunlight!

CF looks better then sun roof, and its ultimately what I wanted. That said my wife wanted a moonroof and it was her only input into the spec. To think its a "deal breaker" is crazing because the CF roof make zero difference to the driving experience.
Ill let you in on a dirty little secret...The moonroof is actually more enjoyable to have then CF |

This! Just depends what you want out of the car. I track mine so CF for me, but I most certainly understand the appeal of a sunroof.

Deal breaker for me, but then again, I ordered a white car. Also, no matter the color of the car, the CF roof has the benefit of the grooves in the roof which add to the sporty look also.

Some good points above. If you have time order what you want. I ordered BSM with CFRP roof and I like it. If you like the car you identified and it has the features you like go for it. I'm sure the trade in values won't be much different but when you go to sell it would be probably easier with the CFRP roof.
