Akebono Euro Ceramic I've heard are nice and less dusty. Also EBC Red Stuff. Most likely you will give up some pedal feel and initial bite but they will most likely be considerably less dusty.

I had Akebonos on my Hondas and they did really well with brake dust. I cannot attest for them on BMWs though. I personally would keep rocking the OEMs and maybe spend a few bucks on ceramic coating, so you can just give it a quick rinse when dusty.

Decent pads but don't ever take them on the track, you will not have a good time. They will fade more easily, that's the price you pay for less dust.

I have a hard time going to less aggressive pads than OEM on an M car. I went with Ferodo DS2500 pads for street and light track duty.

True, but you can say the same for OEM pads. There is no pad that does both very well. If you plan on tracking your car, get a set of track pads. Akebono pads are more than adequate for a street car.

The EBC reds were perfectly quiet in my 335i. Might be a different material for the Camry version?
I quite liked them for the street and they handled odd bout of spirited driving ok as long as it wasn't for too long.

OEM on the street but will replace with Akebono Euro Ceramic, and Ferodo DS1.11 for track days.

Akebono Euro Ceramic - I just installed these on my M4 and love them. I dont ever track car but for street use and my driving habits, I have not noticed any difference from OEM stopping power but FAR LESS dust. My wheels are typically fully covered in brake dust 3 days after a wash. Currently I am a week + on the Akebono pads and can hardly see any dust at all. Also, ZERO noise which is something I was concerned about.

OEM M Compound brake pads, will swap to Akebonos once brake pads wear out and I am out of the maintenance period.

Can you post the link for the Akebono pads? fCP Euro has multiple pads for M3/M4 variant.

These factory pads are making the 666 wheels from shadow line black into gun metal wheels.

These are probably the ones you want.

I read online you can probably find it cheaper else where, but then you won't get lifetime replacements.

Thinking about getting akebonos. Have 40k on my still-OEM rotors (never tracked but drive it hard)

I probably need new rotors too right? What measurement should they be if I'm keeping the same ones

Thanks for the links, I have about 13k on the car now, can I change these pads now? Will the rotors have any warping issues? I don't track the car, but do drive spiritual causal driving and sports + launches.

You can probably change it without issues. Just check for any lip on the rotor and you can just throw in Akebonos. One of the great things with Akebono brake pads is that most of the time you can swap to them without resurfacing the rotor and you won't get vibration. Like others said, you'll lose a little bit of initial bite but just press the brakes harder to compensate.
