Frozen White F80 M3 with minimum camouflage

Got this picture from one of the FB car sites I'm a member of (Streetculture.de - Das Tuning Scene Portal Franken). Members often post pictures of their encounters with pre-production cars in camouflage.

It looks like the roof is carbon fiber as posted earlier, judging by the black shark fin. It was caught in Regensburg, and is a right hand drive.

Thanks, I think this the least camo'd F80 picture I've seen to date. A pity it's just one angle, nevertheless great find!

Thanks for sharing such a good picture. I am hoping we will see more detail of the side gill/opening behind the front wheel. This is one design element I am curious how they are going to handle compared to the regular 4 series.

I'm going for a light to mid color this time and was leaning towards a blue like MCB but the car looks really good in white. Alpine white was low on my list but now it's moving up towards the top.

Easy choice if Frozen White is part of the standard colors!

If this color is standard, then easy choice. But I think this should be on the list of individual colors(like the frozen brown for 6 GC).

Something doesn't look right with how the back door transitions into the fender flare. It looks like the door is flat...then boom....only an inch or so on the fender. You would think the door would start flaring out a little. Maybe its just an optical illusion though.

Judging from this pic, does anyone else think that the new M3 will be indistinguishable by the general public from the current gen... similar to the regular 3 series?

If that is a concern be sure to tick the CF roof option and a light color. But no I think there is enough to set it apart in a traditional M subtle kind of way.

I don't think that is a bad thing. I rather have a car that is subtlety aggresive but in no way a boy racer. The general public simply sees it as a nice car but the connoiseurs recognize it as something special. This has been the case for all ///M cars so far IMO.

I saw this BMW yesterday, too. About 1 km away from your sighting. Made a 3s video and some of the screenshots could be interesting (you can see the power dome from the side). I'll upload tomorrow

I don't see it as a bad thing either, especially as an E92 M3 owner. It just means that the E9x style will stay modern looking for much longer.

I'm seriously considering a sedan, but the E92 and I'd assume the F82 are gonna look sooooo sharp. I'm thinking more along the lines of a functionality aspect, I kinda miss 4 doors. Previous cars were an Integra GSR (2 door), IS 300 (4 DOOR), now 335 (2 door)....pattern here? haha =)
