Silverstone is very underrated, and white is EXTREMELY overrated.

omg please nobody order beige and wood interior in an M car! might as well offer chevy truck pewter barf exterior! Resale on beige anything is always less watching AMG cars for years now cheapest and hardest to dump are pewter. White is so rare.

White and Black make those gold brakes really stand out, love it. I am tempted to get yellow with black out everything to be different in a world of silver, silverstone, and grey. I love the well known e46 m3 hpf kitted seen at shows.

I never buy new but this M3 might make me do it completely disregard 10s of thousands in depreciation bc i don't think i can wait 3yrs to go used.

I'll likely go with Silverstone w/ black interior and wheels unless I choose to go individual w/ the exterior color. Silverstone with black wheels and the standard blue calipers will actually look pretty good come to think of it.

IMO this is going to be the choices for the first year. With my luck I'll find a really nice steel blue individual color I love, pay the $5K for it then in 2016 it'll be a standard color ...

While I agree that white may be overrated, I think that it always looks great. White shows off the body lines very well and makes the car look very classy from every angle.

There's a saying among the Ferrari and Lamborghini crowd that white is the new red/orange/yellow.

If you told me a few years back that I'd have to give up the red/yellow and instead drive a white Ferrari or Lambo, I would have laughed in your face. That was, until I saw both a white 458 and a white Aventador up close in person.

Never thought I'd say this, but I'd take a white 458 over a red or yellow.

And yes, I'm biased

I've owned an AW e46 M3 for the last 9 years. I have never gotten bored of the color. In fact, I would never give it up for any other color. In the 9 years of ownership, that thought has never crossed my mind.

Ah, I like Silverstone but I think it might be too much tone on tone to go Silverstone on Silverstone. And I can't go for a black interior. Too dull, plus this is Texas!

Not many people bought white cars back when you got your E46. NOW, they are EVERYWHERE and look so dull and lifeless to me. I feel they ruin a cars lines. And I would NEVER be caught dead in a white exotic. Not for me. Everyone has their own taste, I guess. Its what makes the world go round. Enjoy.

I never thought I would pick this, but Mineral Grey with black wheels and SO interior is really a great combo. Also interesting is the fact that I like the look of the M4 more in this configurator, while I've preferred the M3 in most other photos.
