Saw this "panel" on the M4 at Rolex 24. It was this same info but next to a full leather, full option, carbon brake spec Austin Yellow M4.

Most people had no idea they were looking at an $80K+ M4 with a $ 65K panel next to it...

Go to the BMW USA website and build your own M6. Full leather is a $3500 option and the extended is $0 The prices on this sheet are messed up. Believe me I have been researching leather options and went to Detroit to clarify stuff before I placed my order, LOL

That can not be correct, when I ordered my bmw in the past extended was leather added to the doors and mid area. As full leather would cover the dash giving the full leather look being described. There has got be a mix up with numbers as it doesn't really make sense otherwise.

Well damn! Thanks for the clarification then. BMW should also offer a "total leather" option just to really keep us on our toes.

I am incredibly geeked for the New M3/M4! Can't wait to officially see them at the Chicago auto show to decide which of the 2 I prefer. Secondly, with all of the standard features it seems as I only need to add the executive package for all the remaining goodies

Remember on the m5 the initial specs said 20-way seats and 18-way came on the car - would not be surprised if Alcantara was an error. It's not offered in the UK for example.

You'd be correct. F-Series cars can start the car without necessitating CA.

Yea, for those looking for low weight, with all of these standard features like navigation and what not guess some people will be bummed!

I don't think Active Cruise is offered on any M model currently. The button space is taken up by the M buttons.

I hope this is simply a mixup of terms, if you look at the military price guide there was similar language

Full $950 - (no charge with exec pkg)
Extended $2000 - ($1,100 with exec pkg)
Extended and full terms seem to be mixed up before in the military pricing info posted (see Canadian and British order guides).

[QUOTE=Jason]
BMW has released the 2015 BMW M3 and BMW M4 spec panels (the ones you see displayed at dealers and auto shows next to the cars). These sheets show us the model highlights, as well as confirming the options and packages for the U.S. M3/M4 models. Full pricing/ordering guides are forthcoming, so check back soon.

Packages include the Driver Assistance Plus (ZDB), Executive Package (ZEC) and Lighting Package (ZLP).

From the U.S. Military Price Estimates Guide, here are the descriptions of these packages.

Executive Package:
Head-Up Display
Comfort Access
Front and Rear Park Distance Control
Rear View Camera
Satellite Radio w/1 Year Sub in US
Heated Steering Wheel
Retractable Headlight Washers
Full Merino Leather

Driver Assist Plus: (Requires Executive Package)
Side and Top-View Cameras
Lane Departure Warning
Forward Collision Warning
Pedestrian Warning
City Collision Mitigation
Active Blind Spot Detection

Lighting Package
Full LED Lights
Automatic High Beams

Full Leather is clearly missing from spec panels and not listed as part of Executive Package. Full leather is also not under the code descriptions in fine print on the Panel for Exec Pkg. Panel only shows Extended Merino Leather as option which does not give you Dash or upper door panels in Leather. The Military guide only adds to confusion showing full leather included in exec pkg and Extended Leather as a higher cost option.

JASON Will you please once and for all clarify these questions for all? Thanks!

ummmmmmmm not exactly

if they are standard on the base car, then the base weight they quoted *includes* the power seats and xenons.

Hi...

You must be new to Automobiles. If those features are "standard" or "base", how can the M3/M4 get any lighter? Do you want BMW to take the seats out of the car and keep them?

I don't believe that's the case. That text is taken from the F30/32 description.

They both get at least the minimum 22.5 MPG combined, so no GGT.

This is really shaping up to be a fantabulous car.
If you've never owned an M3 before, the E92 was the one to get, however this surely will not disappoint.

I'd rather have an E46 M3, but that's just me.

I think their point was that they might have been able to shave a few more pounds if they went to manual, non-heated seats and non-zenon headlight assemblies. Of course, this was when we didn't know what was standard.

For me, it will be nice to have power seats after living with my 330i for 14+ years with manual seats. I can do without the butt warmers though.

Then people would bitch how power seats are not standard in a $62k car.
