If there were some Dinan-like tips for the MPE, I might be able to consider choking down it's huge price!

Dinan comments

A couple more comments on my new Dinan system (only have 20 miles on it so far):

- Cold start sound is greatly improved Edit: Not only improved, but lawnmower sound is totally gone. I don't have to be embarrassed cold starting in public now!
- Nice burble on low rpm deceleration.

Interesting, they look like what I thought, which lends to a tighter design with less possible moving parts thus less prone to loosening over time. - Thank you for the clarification.

I like the way Dinan offers it's tips option(blk, slv), welded on tips per order, less chances of rattles or even falling off the way some here have reported on the MPE.
