Just picked up some Federal Rs Double R's 275/35/18
The only other 200tw tires I've ever run were the Nitto's, and they were great, but budgetary concerns keeping me from going that route or the other more expensive options that I know are superior to these Federal's.
Anyone else have experience with Federal? My tire guy says he can get the newer Pro version they released in 2019, but the RR's were in stock, so going with these for now. |

I had federal RSR’s previously on my S2000. They are super sticky and great on the dry. But my s2k is significantly less power and lighter.

I use to run federal 595RS RR's on my 335i. They held 600wheel pretty decent with a 40 side wall 22psi

I ran the newer RS Pro for 1 track day.
Disappointed, they are decent for the price but my older RS3 had more grip in the corners. Couldn't match my personal best at my local track even with additional mods that made me 10mph faster on the straight, but slower over all laptime. |
