Any deals on ordering a new F80?

I originally was looking at a M2, but I'm a little tired of waiting now and went to check out the F8x at my local dealership today and really love the M3's lines (even though I prefer coupes). I just customized a 6MT SO F80 with black extended interior, 19" black 437 with no other options for $67,845. This is a little bit more than I would like to spend, so I was wondering if there's any deals to be had when ordering new (I'm guessing not). If not, would it be a better idea to lease these cars? I typically keep my cars until warranty runs out (in this case I think 3 years) and then re-evaluate if I want to re-up on the warranty or sell the car. I only plan on DDing the car, no track.

Yes. $500-$1,000 over invoice is doable if you find a dealer that is willing to negotiate (I had good experiences with truecar.com dealers). Probably better if you're willing to do ED but I don't know the details well enough there.

Cool thanks. Is this 2016 or 17? I'm guessing there's no budging on 17?

Have a look here to get an idea on 2017 deals:
http://f80.bimmerpost.com/forums/sho....php?t=1279690

and here if you find a 2016 on a lot:
http://f80.bimmerpost.com/forums/sho....php?t=1135003

Pay attention to region and if an allocation exists on an ordered 2017. Some dealers will be quick to quote $500-1000 over invoice only to keep you waiting months for an allocation. Market pricing varies drastically across different regions with FL and CA being among the worst. Doing ED or PCD will open your options to dealers anywhere in the country to get the best deal if you can swing dealing with shipping or pickup. Good luck!

Thanks! I just moved to the SF Bay (south bay) last week. Where did you go for your allocation? I'm totally open to doing PCD

There really aren't any deals in the Bay Area from what I saw but try LA and figure $500 to truck it up or fly down for half that and drive back. Way better than trying to figure out how to get a car back from South Carolina. I did have some luck with BMW of Monterey if you want to give that a shot and obviously closer than the south land.

I can't tell you if it's a rare outlier but I got $700 over invoice for a 2017 without much hassle. NYC market appears to be one of the better ones.
