Making the order next week! My spec. SO or MG??

So Ive managed to get about 12% off MSRP, and about to make an order next week.

Here is my spec so far:

M3
Competition package
DCT
silverstone interior with carbon fibre trim
HUD
HK
adaptive headlights/high beam assist
rear window tints

I am still somewhat undecided about whether to go with SO with silverstone or MG with silverstone.

One other concern is that I am worried silverstone interior could get damaged/stained easily. Thoughts? Should I just be safe and get SO with all black interior?

Obviously color is a personal preference but I would never do MG/SS. I think if I was going MG I would do MG/SO or MG/Black. I like SO/SS as well.

Light color interiors definitely require a little more care and maintenance if you want to keep them looking like new.

SO w/ silver stone. I've heard the silver stone holds up really well. Just take care of the leather periodically...

MG with silver stone is too neutral.

Sakhir is a great color, and probably the most "chameleon" like among all the different metallic options. That said, it is my least favorite color. It is just too orange/copper in some lighting. But it certainly is a paint that will wow you in the sunlight.

I disagree that silverstone and mineral gray would be too "neutral", I think it is an outstanding combination because it is neutral. You can add any color accents/wheels etc... Sakhir would be a love hate type of thing for me, I would enjoy it in the sun but not at other times. On the other hand MG/SS would always be great looking. Hope gregfeightytwo doesn't mind sharing his photos here.

I wrestled with the same thing as I originally decided on MG but ended up switching to SO.

Lots of good feedback on SO can be seen here.

I got mine through the Diplomatic sales program so I'm not an expert on pricing off of MSRP but 12% off seems like a pretty good deal to me.....best of luck with your new car and the agony of picking the right color with no regrets!

SS interior will require more maintenance, but it's totally worth it. It feels so much more special than the unending monotony of an all-black interior.

As for exterior, the world is filled with boring grey cars. Stand out from the crowd and get SO.

I had the same dilemma on interior choice however I went with opal white with YMB. As stated previously, takes some care but totally worth it. Owned it for 6 months now and interior still looks flawless.

I have the MG with SS interior and whenever I see a SO I wish I had gone with that color. I would recommend getting the SO/SS setup. I think that would be awesome! Don't get me wrong, MG is a great color but something about that SO just takes my breath away whenever I see one in person.

Thanks

Im getting this car to have some fun whilst I'm young, I think orange suits the nature of the car 😄

I think i will go with SO/SS after looking at some peoples pics of SO cars. Also when I saw the colour in the show room I thought it looked great. Before I saw the colours in real life I was thinking YMB but then was loving the SO
