Hey!

Quick consult:

I'm contemplating looking into this car. It's New, but it's been on the Dealer Lot since
(+-) May and hasn't moved!

Considering that MYK17's are already arriving at dealerships, should I be able to negotiate
this one for under Invoice?

They're currently at +$1000.00.

What do you think?

Car is likely still sitting there due to rear diff stop delivery bulletin.

Ask them if this particular vehicle is affected and when it will be fixed.

You should definitely be able to score a better deal compared to a MY17 with same specs.

Strange for an F80 to sit for so long, especially being priced so low. Does it have weird specs? Could be a canceled order.

No. It's a "March, 2016" Build, so it's Pre-differential issues.

And, Yeah, as far as the general public goes, it does have strange Spec's. -

It's a 6 Sp. MT!

Any more Info. on whether, I can still, justifiably, ask for a lower price
(< Invoice) would be greatly appreciated.

For all intents and purposes, invoice + $1k is a great deal, and if you're leasing MY16 is what you want due to the super-aggressive residuals this month. It never hurts to ask, but based on what I've heard I don't see any reason for the dealer to have a fire sale at this point.

It's been sitting there for 3 months. What ammunition do you need beyond that? That's already a good price, but if you want to aim lower let nothing but fear stop you. The answer to every unasked question is no.

Yeah, they are going to want this gone before the MY17s start rolling in. I'm sure it would have been gone but for the MT (someone must have ordered it and backed out) - their loss, your gain! If it has what you want, sure, offer $500 below invoice and be prepared to take invoice.
