Help: Need Sizes & Quantities of Oil Pan Bolts for F80 M3

Hey guys,

I’m getting ready to replace the oil pan gasket on my F80 since I’ve got a small oil leak, and I want to make sure I’ve got everything I actually need before diving in. I already know the oil pan bolts are torque to yield and need to be replaced, but I’ve seen different info on how many different sizes there are. Some people say there’s 3 sizes, others say 4, and I even heard there’s a random odd length bolt somewhere in the mix?
If anyone’s done the job or has access to ISTA or a diagram, can you please confirm the exact number of bolts, their sizes, and how many of each? Trying to avoid guessing or missing something once it’s apart.
Also, while I’m doing the job, I’ll be supporting the engine from above and slightly dropping the subframe. So I’m wondering what other bolts I should be replacing besides the pan bolts. I’ve heard the subframe bolts, engine mount bolts, and maybe steering rack or sway bar bolts are single use too. I just don’t want to reuse anything that I shouldn’t, but also don’t want to drop $350 on a full kit full of stuff I don’t need.

I’d really Appreciate any help from someone who’s done it or knows what’s what.
Thanks!

BimmerWorld offers a complete set of all aluminum bolts used for the oil pump suction pipe/windage tray on the S55 engine in the M2/M3/M4. The oil pan mounting bolts are 11117853941 (I believe the qty is 23) but most places sell this full bolt set instead. BimmerWorld has the best price $65.56 (vs. FCP Euro $78.99).

I can’t help you with all of the hardware that needs to be replaced when performing this job.

Complete kit

FCP Euro has a kit with everything you need for the project and a good diy video. Gasket and all bolts are included. Did mine about 2 years ago.

I have an unopened complete set of Genuine BMW oil pan bolts if you’re looking. I bought them from FCP Euro and needed a second set (so this is the lifetime guarantee set).
I broke a bolt off and had to back it out and replace it, hence the second set.
