car jerks after letting off the throttle at high speed?

When I am driving on the highway (in sport +, D3 as I normally do on the open road) after I am done accelerating but still moving at high speed, the second I let off the throttle, there is a jerk that occurs. It feels similar to engine braking but I am not downshifting.

Is this normal?

Yes. Especially at higher engine rpms (which D3 keeps you at) you are in fact engine braking. DCT doesn’t declutch just because you let off the gas and can catch people off guard.

This leads me into my PSA for those that drive around with traction control off: lift-off oversteer on this platform happens and happens with little warning.
