My own brother has had nasty legal battle with BMW corporate. Sadly some people get the s*** end of the stick, and some don't. |

Some great insights from Throttle House at the 7:25 mark.

Starting now and over the next couple of years it is time to buy whatever M model you like and keep it. These machines were designed by M team that had different philosophy from the current posers running the show. I am doing exactly that.

Im seriously considering grabbing an M2 comp as the covid prices start to deflate. I expect with the vaccine news itll be a couple more months at most.
M2 CS seems great but I agree with them the interior doesnt fit the price tag. |

I know you buy the M2 for the driving experience etc. The CS is still overpriced. Ill take a Porsche in that range but to each their own. |

$85k undercuts the M5 by ~$18k and offers 3 pedals. Will that be enough to be competitive with sales for this generation??

But, I’m guessing by next year at this time the M2 CS will have large discounts and that won’t be as big a factor. It is a great alternative to Porsche though if you need back seats and I’m sure a riot to drive. The reviews I’ve read/watched though still say BMW can’t get the road suspension tuning right. I’ve never really considered interior/cost for some reason on my fun cars. More concerned with the drive/performance etc. I actually don’t think the M2 CS is that bad. Like you said, both the C and CS are much better than the base ones. Still weird BMW deletes the arm rest in the M2 CS. FWIW, my Cayman has the GTS interior package and while it is nice, I’m not sure it is worthy of the 100k sticker either. Fit and finish is impeccable though. |
