Why do you need EXEC????

I know on the M5 it's a luxury saloon so maybe but m3? Going to ditch the OEM steering wheel for a custom Carbon Fiber version anyways so will lose the heated grip. Other stuff I can live without, like cameras and stuff I have on my Denali so don't need it on a performance car. Forgot what else it has...
HUD and backup cam are my two main things. I don't care for HUD much myself but I think not having it and backup cam may hurt resale.

Can't answer your question - but I have one for you - what's the logic with the sunshade delete?

Understand your logic but don't agree.

If you look at the stripper e46 m3 models, less is more in most cases when it comes to resale. Cars with no sunroof, no power seat, manual tranny are the HIGHEST demand. Just my 2 cents.

People who cram technology into cars just means once out of warranty those things that fail will be more expensive to fix. Again the my thinking from a purist is "less is more".

It was from an owner who took delivery of his M3 competition package and posted photos on the F80 Facebook group. Not sure how to bring those photos here.

Ok - weird. Every photo I've seen shows no different stitching to the standard M3 other than the seatbelts.

ZRW is automatic unless you go full leather or 415

I meant seat belts ONLY, not the rest of the car. Sorry for confusion.

I will have tri-color carbon steering wheel but that is not OEM.

Unless you order full leather or add the rear electric shade the rear side shades are deleted. I thought it was weird too and tried to have them not deleted but was told I would need to order the rear electric shade wasn't worth it since I will be tinting the windows anyway. My current 4 series came with the electric sade and I really never use it so not worth the money if I get the choice.

They only build one door panel assembly for full leather due to the expense versus the non-full leather door panel is less to manufacture making it feasable to manufacture 2 versions of the panels.

You can have full leather without the sunshades.

In an M3 the sides are default with full. Rear is option. At least the way it was in 15.

Do you know of anyone who did this without going Individual?

I attempted to delete the side shades on my full leather build, but my CA wasn't able to do it, and their regional rep wasn't able to help either.

Option ZRW needs added to the order. I'm not sure if the regional rep or the Individual rep was the one who completed it on my order. My CA took care of it with whoever did it.

Right - I just have a feeling it's not possible unless you're already doing an Individual order, which I am not.

You could always request it and see what they say the lead time for it is. It might not be anything substantial.

I'm already in production, so it's too late for me. I was just curious to know if anyone had done it through the standard channels.

My CA put some effort towards trying to figure it out, and I didn't push too hard when it didn't work out. To be honest, he probably thought I was a little crazy for asking.
