I've been seeing different answers on the forums. So I locked in my deal Feb 3rd for the February rates. I'm on the east cost, are those numbers good until April 3rd or do they start the 60 days at the end of the month and there good until April 31st.

If its the first, is it possible to lock in the numbers again at the end of February?

You get 60 days from the day you sign. You are welcome to use any incentives that are available at the time of delivery if they are better than what you signed.

When you say sign, you mean send the credit app and put the deposit. I haven't signed the lease until the car comes.

So is it possible to re do that on the last day of this month so I get locked in until the end of April

When you put down the deposit, that was it. Start the clock from that day.

I don't think you can "re-sign" since you already placed the order. You can certainly order a new car though.

Yes, I locked on 12/31, then again on 1/31, and will again on 2/28. I left my deposit on 10/31 but opted for spring delivery to avoid winter and because my current lease isn't up. Unfortunately, they run your credit every time. My CA is fairly certain residuals will drop in March. My delivery is expected last week of March but that could easily trickle into April so I will still be able to get February pricing. I will however not get any holiday cash.

Dumb question, if a better incentive comes along but residuals drop, can I keep my FEB residual and apply the new incentive?

My CA told me if there were better rates when I was ready for delivery, that those would apply, however with my order being in December, he said that was unlikely. Not sure how jan vs feb vs march look

Thanks, I can't imagine my car would get here in March, so hoping there are some spring incentives in April

M4 ED quote... reasonable?

Hey guys, this is my first post here and appreciate the vast wealth of information here, definitely helps relieve some of the stress from all the excitement of getting one of these power houses. The following is a quote I am inclined to accept, just wondering if the deal is decent.

2015 M4 ED order, MSRP $84,725, includes metallic paint, M suspension, executive, lighting, 19” black wheels, carbon brakes, DCT, H-K sound

$75,645 – Sale price at $1K over ED invoice + $498 "document fee"= $76,145
$52,292 – residual for 39 months, 10K miles per year, or 61% of MSRP

$929.12 – monthly payment, includes NY State tax at $3,018.97 (8.375%), estimated NY registration @ $300 (remainder to be sent back to you), doc fee @ $498, Bank fee @ $795,

$929.12 – total due at lease signing, first monthly payment only
0.00160 – money factor includes ED adder
BMW FS pays the second lease payment while you wait for shipping back to the US

Any and all feedback is appreciated. Thanks.

That's a pretty great deal to me... I'm struggling to get dealers to do $2k off of ED price.

I wonder if there is any way to drive down the MF of ED besides MSDs. Wonder if you could pay MF upfront and have monthly payments decreased.

My understanding is that MSDs are the only way to do this.

Do you mind sharing which dealer this was (PM is fine if you want to keep it private)?

That's a great deal. If bank fee = acquisition fee, then you look good to go.
Sign the deal and enjoy the ride.

Also no realistic way to decrease MF from 0.0016 outside of MSD's. It's the base rate for the month.

It should be closer to 840 with those numbers. That money factor doesn't really make sense. It should be .0013

Also, your not getting much off the msrp. I dropped a deal to move to another dealership for location purposes. He was giving me 6.5% off msrp.

I am seeing a lot of pretty good deals out there, so curious on everyones take on what i am being quoted by my local dealer. I am in south FL

This is a build order :

2015 M4 - $64,200
Sakhir Orange - $550
Cloth/Leather Combo
DCT - $2900
19" Black M style 437 - $1200

Basically a "base" model M4

MSRP - $68,850
Destination Charge - $950

Total - $69,800

Quoted - 39/15k miles
$957/mo payment tax in
Purchase option $40,484

Out of pocket up front
1st month
fees/insurance - 318.50
upfront taxes - 3.99
Total - $1279.65

Also , In the fee breakdown, i see the doc fee of $699 is capped.

I know i need to get money factor, i do not have it but will ask for it.

Why is this payment so high , other than possibly high money factor. For a pretty much base model M4.

I initially went in due to the pull ahead program but my current M3 is not eligible. if so , he would have been able to offer me an M4 with msrp of $76k that they had in inventory with same conditions as above for $999/mo.

Is it expected that a built car will be more than one they have inventory, I did put the order in but no deposit as i have dealt with same salesman/dealer before. I hope to be able to negotiate a little better deal when car actually comes in. What are the main questions, things i can reasonably ask for to get a better deal in this case?
Thanks

I'm in South Florida as well. Are you dealing with South BMW or Braman?

I tried to negotiate with them and I got nothing. They believe that they can sell these cars at MSRP.

Someone posted something about a February allocation in another post, I would contact them. If not, I pulled out of a deal with BMW of New London because I found a dealer with a sooner allocation (There's was for week 12 and I got week 10). I needed this so it would work with my pull ahead.

BMW of new London gave me 6.5% off MSRP. A price of 715 a month (Florida tax included) and 3500 due at signing. This was for an MSRP of 70425 and a sale price of 66,000. Of course this was for 10k miles.

I ran the numbers, they are giving you 0 discount on that order and I'm sure they didn't provide you with a production number. With 5% off MSRP, which isn't hard to get, you would shave 100$ off monthly. You need to be in the 850 range.

I can guarantee you can get 2000 of MSRP just by making a phone call to another dealer in the north east. I contacted about 20 and almost everyone said 1000-2000 off MSRP.

If you put some effort, it shouldn't be too hard to find a dealer that can get you 5-6% off. With how much people are getting off, honestly I wouldn't settle for less than 5% off. Contact BMW of New London and see what they can do for you.

You may have to ship the car to you or do PCD but its worth it in the end.

Actually i am in broward, dealing with Lauderdale BMW in Pines.

I do have a report he gave me when made the order, has a production # and it says order status 112 - scheduled for daily.

Where do you check online about production status , etc.?

I am going to talk to my sales rep and see if when the car comes in we can negotiate some discount off MSRP or can do it now. if they are willing of course.
