Carbahn Charge Pipes?

How's the fitment? Looks like it might include a little spacer for the engine cover to clear, like the old ESS silicone charge pipes?

Titanium has very poor thermal capabilities to reject heat. This is where you need it most, right before the TMIC. For the bling, yes. For the performance, it's a downgrade.

I have them (silicone) and they rub the passenger airbox, they also leak like a sieve at the turbos.

I went back to the stock plastic charge pipes and the leaks went away.

Either keep stock or Mishimoto and call it a day.

Already been down this charge pipe rabbit hole. Too many fitment problems with other companies and silicone tubes.

Sucks because I'd prefer silicone for optimal IATs/keeping heatsoak to a minimum. Do stock charge pipes fail that much?

Mine never failed and have 70k miles on them before I went with Mishimoto for preventative maintenance.

Yeah I'm at 75k miles and the original charge pipes are fine. Same with the intercooler. Thinking about picking up a later production date OEM intercooler just to have as backup and not worry too much about all of this.

if you want silicone charge pipes, the ARM ones are very solid.

i strongly recommend not getting another OEM cooler, if you are doing the change, get an aftermarket upgraded cooler. lots of failed OEM cooler threads
