Talking VRSF S55 Top Mount Intercooler Upgrade for 2015 – 2019 M2C, M3 & M4 F80/F82/F87

VRSF HD Top Mount Intercooler Upgrade for your S55 2015 – 2019 M2 Competition, M3 & M4 F80/F82/F87

Replace your inefficient factory top mount intercooler with the VRSF upgraded air to water intercooler upgrade kit to get the most out of your S55. We designed this kit to be one of the best performing, direct bolt on intercoolers available for your BMW with special attention to quality and performance while maintaining a reasonable price. Our intercoolers allow for higher HP gains, mainly due to their ability to keep intake temps down while preventing heat soak which is a common problem with the factory intercooler. This results in a more power and increased reliability with reduced chances of pre-detonation & knock.

The most important component of any intercooler is the core. The core cools the charged air from the turbo before it enters the engine and the OEM BMW tube and fin intercooler is designed to support low boost levels and air flow. Once boost levels and air flow are increased, the OEM unit is easily overwhelmed and can not keep up with the cooling demands of a tune running more than OEM boost levels. This results in heat soak which will result in a power loss and a higher potential for pre-detonation in the upper RPM range. The OEM intercooler will rise in temperatures up to 105 whereas the VRSF dual pass, high density top mount intercooler will reduce temps down pull which is both harmful for your engine and robs you of power.

We remedy this problem with our custom bar and plate core design which utilizes a staggered and offset high density internal and external fin pack. Our proprietary VRSF HD core has been carefully tuned to provide the the best intake temperature reduction while maintaining minimal pressure drop along with our CFD optimized cast end tanks.

Every VRSF product includes our lifetime warranty & our “No Hassle” satisfaction guarantee which includes fitment & defects. Each VRSF intercooler is hand finished and pressure tested to ensure a high quality, leak free experience.

Features
  • High density, dual pass bar & plate core.
  • Black powder coated finish.
  • CFD backed, cast aluminum plug and play end tanks.
  • 62% higher capacity over the OEM intercooler.
  • Plug and play with no modification required.
  • Compatible with any chargepipe on the market.
  • This item fits the following BMWs:
  • 2015 – 2019 F80/F82/F83 BMW M3 & M4
  • 2018+ F82 BMW M2 Competition (S55 Only)

Note: Fits both Left Hand Drive & Right Hand Drive Models

For good reason, in my opinion. Was waiting for mods to clean it up. Can’t believe how unprofessional the other party was. That kind of garbage shouldn’t be allowed on here. Idk what the rules are, but I sure as hell would have banned them if this was my forum.

I guess I have missed that part then, just saw some trash talk from a competitor and people talking about China but nothing insulting. If it went down that route I am totally with you, always keep things constructive.

Especially for stuff that Mike is selling. Mike is a great guy and he stands-by his transactions. I’ve had nothing but good experiences with him and he will step-up to make us happy if we go through him

Just checking in to see if there's anything new and maybe some data? Definitely am considering to buy, but have to see first in order to believe.

Tiago@VRSF
If you need a tester, lemme know, I'd happily supply data logs before and after install.

Hello, I purchased an installed this product few days ago. Also posted on YouTube the unboxing video. (S55 VRSF UNBOXING) I also did some pulls a day before and will do several more pulls when the rain stops here in south Florida. Also did some dragy runs to see if 60-130 times improved.

Ultimately just trying to make sure temps stay low. My old temps weren't bad and with the VRSF should be a little lower. We will know soon.

Awesome, thx for the reply. I actually have watched ur unboxing video yesterday, thx for sharing. Would be great if you can show a comparison log of your IAT before/after install. That would be totally sufficient data for me. Just like you, I would also only buy this to ensure more consistent power delivery in high ambient temps.

Both my docracing CP's or the VRSF did not come with silicone connections so had to use the only color available at the time. (Red) black was ordered.
