E-Sys can't connect. Target blank.. Help

Yes! This was just what I needed. I was missing the /dist/ folder in each of my chassis directories. Thank you Shawn! 👍👍👍

Hi, I can connect to vehicle but the diagnostic add (hex)'s box is so small and i cant type anything. How do i go about doing that? Thank you in adv.

E-Sys is currently not supported under Windows 10. Workaround for display problems under Windows 10: E-Sys.exe -> Properties -> Compatibility -> "Override behavior at high DPI scaling" -> Scaling performed by: "System"

Hi Shawn, great news. settle on the esys side.
bad news is when i click generate after choosing map( which i edit the lookup file), it prompt " nbt.exe not present in tools folder

I have no idea why you have that error, but it has nothinh to do with subject of this thread, which is Missing Connection Targets.

along the way i use different version of software and maybe mixed up until i got confused. can you pm me the link to get the program needed and i redo all again since you had guide me initially.

Hi! This is my problem, i'm also struggling to resolve! Following group posts few days and i'm helpless... found this thread, uninstalled everything, rebooted pc, installed again, and i still can't connect. i have modbmw enet wifi obd and have the same issue like jMon! Is there anyone willing to hepl, or try to remote fix it on my pc, because i have no clue what else to do....

Probably issue with your "modbmw enet wifi obd"? You need a plain old ENET Cable.

You will not be able to connect via VIN unless PSdZData is properly installed, and the Car and Laptop have a connection. For this:

1) The Target Connection Window should not be blank (It should show multiple target connections for different chassis')
2) ENET Cable must be good and making good contact in OBDII Port
3) Car must have proper voltage (Make sure motor is running if car is not on a Charger).
4) Laptop must not have Firewall or any Antivirus software running.
5) PC Lan Adapter should get a fallback IP address of 169.254.xxx.xxx (Make sure it is using DHCP and does not have a Static IP address assigned to it)

i removed ista and esys from pc, run ccleaner, removed all leftovers,junk etc.. rebooted, installed esys and replaced pszdata with newer version (idk if it is newer but has more chasis codes) and inserted dist folders in every chasis and installed esys launcher pro! that was missing piece! now it works!

pszd 4.41.10 ..

I can see the VIN and I can ping the car's ip address successfully, but I cannot get it to read a target.

Any helpful ideas would be gratefully received!

Is the connection Target Window Empty, with no Targets listed?

If the "Open Connection" window under "Target" is empty (no targets), verify the following:

1. That the "psdzdata" folder is installed properly (From the PSdZData_Lite or PSdZData_Full extraction, copy the "psdzdata" folder to "C:\Data" (i.e. "C:\Data\psdzdata")

No. If psdzdata is installed and configured correctly, your Targets will be there.
