My thoughts on the 2017 M4 Convertible

I had the opportunity to drive and live with the 2017 BMW M4 convertible for 24h, my 2018 LCI ZCP was not ready for delivery and had to wait for another day.

The car is brand New, Austin Yellow with Amaro Black, I found it strange at first but then it started to grow on me and It was really elegant but prefer if the exterior was blue or even black!

Since I sold my 2016 M4 I didn't drive any newer models, surprisingly the 2017 felt better! even it is the convertible which is noticeably heavier with the extra roof and no CF, still the grip was better, the chassis is less bouncy, the interior is better finished even the stock exhaust was louder especially from the inside! not sure if i was a software update since the parts are the same and carried on from 2015 and 2016 models.

Personally I found the car to be less attractive from the side and rear but it is subjective, maybe Im just a coupe type of person! I do understand the surge why people go with the convertible it is different!

The Idrive 5 is smoother, faster, more attractive to use and to look at! didn't do much in depth review since I didn't want to ruin my experience with my new car with the Idrive 6 features.

The Color is great is sunlight and here in Dubai it was very noticeable especially that the sun is almost 99% of the time and also because most cars are white, back and grey! but once the light get weaker the car looked different and not so nice to my eyes, still a unique color but not as great!

I've never seen before a austin cabby with amaro lether combination.
The vid about the new convertible is very nice - but why you Show it not roofless?

I think because it's 44-49C here in Dubai right now the leather would melt if you open the roof

Exactly! People do not understand that it reaches 52 degrees + lol
